Just about any character will hit 80%+ for 5 bars. Bear in mind only your last character has access to 5 bars and even landing a TOD on one character means you only effectively deal 33% to your opponent since they have other characters.

Maxima's command grab isn't too bad to react to either

I just had an idea.
What if they started selling extra specials for characters as DLC.

Say you have 7-3s against the top 6 that is not your character.

Most people in tournaments are going to play top 6 characters. Top teir characters bring top teir results.

That means if you bring your main against their main, you've got a 7-3. That's very good for you.

They can counterpick you and make it 4-6 which means you have to work harder, but a 4-6 is a perfectly winnable matchup.

You're also now playing against their pocket character with your main.

Also, chances are the low-teir they counterpicked you with are low-teir for a reason, and have obvious weaknesses that can be exploited.

Don't understand tierlists at all.

Tier lists are about overall wins in a best of 10 against every character assuming each character is being played to their optimal level. If one character goes entirely even in a roster of 13, they have a rating of 65. If the other character has 6 7-3s, 6 4-6s and 1 5-5, they have a rating of 71. That's better than a 65 as they have more overall wins than the other character, thus they are higher on a tier list.

Note that this doesn't cover individual matchups. Who knows, maybe the 5-5 character does better against the top tiers better, but that doesn't make them better than the other character because they win against the rest of the roster better. Thus, they're higher on the tier list.

well I wouldn't call it a miracle but sure, she has a pretty weak neutral game because a competent player can minimize her sword zoning really well by killing them before they activate. a good stray hit will probably lead into the corner though because she has the best corner carry in the game, from certain starters she can actually do a literal fullscreen corner carry but it's somewhat hard to do.

she has fairly powerful oki though and in the corner especially she gets some of these really HONEST mixups that lead into solid damage and knockdown which sets up another oki attempt from her

This is recorded in pc sign though, also the YRC makes it harder to time a reversal properly I guess, and if the opponent is doing a DP input reversal they have to guess the side they input it on because from this same YRC starter ram has a non-crossup by jumping backwards and doing J2H, she gets a full combo out of that one as well

If there was one simple way to completely remove the threat of her fireballs, why would they even be in the game? Its just like jumping over a sonic boom, you have to choose the right time to do it.

anti air her every time and don't be afraid of her vtrigger shenanigans, they're almost all fake-safe and cr. jab flat out beats most of them, just be ready to block the cross up. Be super patient when she's in v trigger and she'll make a mistake 9 times out of 10, if she can't get you into one of her mixups into CA she'll get impatient and make a mistake, then you punish her hard for it

Yeah. He like alpha 3 because getting AA'd does no damage, fireballs do no damage, and getting poked or outfootsied does nothing in this game. All he does is jump constantly to try and land his 30hit 80% meme trainingboar combo into an infinite for free, and he calls it 'neutral'.
