Maxwell has a STRONG weakness to mages though. A Double Meteor from a 400+MAG Exdeath takes off 100K HP from her which is about a tenth of her HP.

CoD and Tillith are more required for Maxwell due to their anti-light buff.

For Maxwell the only thing "required" is a light resist buff so CoD or Tililith, there are many others units that can be used for debuff or dark damage, hell you can easily clear her using like 3 maxed Exdeaths with double cast meteor

Minor neutering but it's a very good idea to give him Carbuncle anyway for that Light Resist and he's all set to get you that Limit Break requirement on Maxwell since it does magic damage and dark which she is weak to. Even better if you have CoD/Tillith to back him up with Element Veil to give him even more light resist.

Physical units have much more of a problem dealing with her huge DEF.

There's a clear winner in every group, the one in second that's closest to the one in first (Vaan) still only has 1k votes while Chizuru has 1.9k.

If Bartz or Exdeath were in they wouldn't be "competition", they'd probably win outright since they haven't had a banner and they definitely for sure have a 6* even though Bartz sucks desu.

So do I just save up all my shit until there`s a good banner event to upgrade one of my units and try to pull them?

It's got all Orlandu's OP shit in it, and the Agrias relics in there are also great. The Mustadio relic there is a Fuller Break SSB which is great because it stacks with Full Break, and Ovelia has a Dreamstage clone.
It's better overall even though Shout is in the other one. The other banner has a few meh relics, which this one only has one or two depending on how high your bar is.

To be completely honest, I prefer using a Shout RW instead of native Shout most of the time anyway.

It's Ovelia, not Alma. And she's got two SSBs there, one of which is good. If it's the staff you got the good one (Dreamstage clone), if it's a hat you got the not-so-amazing one (Protectga/Shellga/2000 HP stock).
Agrias' SSB is actually a lot stronger than an EnElement SB usually is and is stronger than Minfilia's (and on a character with much higher ATK and an MC3), but if you don't have a great support SB on a character to replace Minfilia I might hold on to her.

Well the Chain spells are really nice if you can afford the orb cost, but it's more about his SBs. He's got an insane buff for a mage party as his SSB2 which altema rates as an SS relic, something I'm pretty sure only Wall and Onion's hybrid Shout BSB have now. It's pretty much a more offensive Sheep Song, MAG +30%, Haste, and Quick Magics 3 to the party.

Plus he's got an EnElement BSB, which is always nice. Mages are good now, but I still think an all-physical team is better than an all-magical team.

It took a few S/Ling, but I finally cleared my first U+. Mastered the whole thing and even did the Cid Mission, and Basch ironically was the only casualty.

There's still phase 4 of Orbfest left to do, and hopefully before it ends I'll have honed Saint Cross to R2 and sufficiently leveled WoL and P.Cecil for the next U+.

Though you could technically clear the event just by beelining to the end and fighting the boss, you could probably win as long as you avoid physical attacks (it's fine if the attack will kill them, though).

The event honestly kind of sucks, I was glad I got Burst Shot but that's about it.

Just so you understand why you're underleveled, the boss of the event is three Belmodars that have 24,500 HP. If you don't kill one or two of them as well as have Barthundara up before the ~3rd turn, they all cast a powerful thunder spell that can wipe you.

I left two alive on the 3rd turn by accident just now, and even with Barthundara my 5* lv. 71 Lenna was killed by it.

You can start doing the event just for the exp when your team is ~40 with a max friend like chizuru. Fighting all the random encounters and ignore ainsle you'll get 60k~ exp and ~6k gold with a bunch of mats and red magicite for ifrit.

Chizuru/Rain/Lass are the only originals so far that have a 6* form that wasn't released initially. Otherwise all of the donuts released after Lightning have the potential to awaken to 6* if they can.

Wilhelm/Grace/Soleil/Eileen/Soze/Marie/Shine/Ruruka/Dark Fina/Mercedes all can awaken to 6* but all of them came after Lightning.

I could see them introducing Triple in with the VIII cast since it was an iconic spell from it, baring that either some boosted faith ability or a mage based berserk.

Adding spells isn't hard, the real issue would be how to learn them. Considering how grindy this game is and the fact that getting blue magic is supposed to be challenging and a bit of a grind normally.

Burst Shot is still really useful on a Sentinel User.

It allows them to do a basic attack (+50% additional damage) while still triggering their cover. So you don't necessarily have to choose between attacking and having a tank.

In FFT he joins your party relatively early and is by far the strongest unit in the game you have at that point. Once you get him, the entire game can revolve around using him to demolish every enemy and having the rest of your guys on cleanup duty. It's probably possible to solo the game with him once you get him.

He's seriously that good. It doesn't hurt that in addition to his high level and stats, he comes with very good equipment and his own array of devastating special moves.

XV is the spiritual sequel to VIII, that I hoped they would never make. (An actual VIII-2 would be warranted though.) Except all the similar vibes I get from it are even stronger than VIII's. As in they all infuriate me, especially 'Fantasy based on Reality.' It will be haphazard and the game concepts won't come together. I have sworn not to buy or support it either, and it's a shame to break the streak. I will watch it like I did Before Crisis and continue to wait for XVI.

I dropped BE because of the dailies (and because there is nothing worthwhile to do in the game other than TM grinding and gasha pulls for shits and giggles).
I either forgot to to them, or remembered how much I disliked doing them (especially explorations, fuck that gay shit). The fact that the daily reward is the most mediocre thing ever (50 fucking lapis, you can't even get an energy refresh from it) didn't help either. At least RK/Mobius' daily stuff is easy to get, and farming shit in them feels more "rewarding".

It's interesting how Noctis is seemingly getting more prominent with every episode, depending on the focus character's perspective.

- In ep1 he's a part of the group; there are only some hints how crucial he is to them (like his effortless ability to defuse any conflict brewing up between them).
- In ep2 he's an important but largely unknown figure - Prompto just doesn't know him as well as the other two; Ignis and Prompto get into a fight when Noctis isn't awake to stop them.
- In ep3 he's very prominent, but also stoical and unflappable. Typical for his interactions with Gladio.
- In ep4 he's practically the focus character. Ignis knows him very well, including his more brittle aspects. The relationship and the episode itself is somber and serious.

Despite its simplicity, the anime shows some surprisingly subtle and nuanced characterization.

first guy here, and yeah, my thoughts as well. When my exploration task was to just mash through dialog for Siren, and I would autobattle my way through vortex and colosseum...it just felt incredibly tedious. I really liked the structure of the world, but burned most of my summon tickets and ended up with 4 kryle and 4 galuf, and just had to put the game down.
