I really adore it mechanically, but I don't really know how well it'll work in practice come legion. I've never played a priest at endgame before, but I'm considering it for Legion.

I feel like wowhead ruined the game for me somewhat. Back when I was a kid and didn't know about those sites I'd spend a decent amount of time trying to figure out how to do a quest, so completing it felt like an accomplishment.
Now you can just look up how to do it and finish things instantly. It's like I'm just playing a guidebook and not a game. Anyone else feel this way?

Yes I have played Rogues anon.
Assassination is fun and if you're doing it well you should never be starved for energy, alright dps and the spec weapon is decent. It just gets stale quickly.
Subtelty is really fun but takes a little getting used to, it can be made to fire off huge bursts of damage but it's easy to get carried away and become starved for energy.
Outlaw is fun but you need the favour of the Random Number God to do any outstanding damage unless you change Roll the Bones for Slice 'n' Dice but that takes the fun out of the spec.

I resubbed just so I could beat a raid tier in legion, because in all my years of playing I actually never have due to being unable to commit to it. Now in uni I have time so I thought I'd do it and get some closure because it was raiding was what I always wanted to do in WoW and never could. However I'm finding the game so boring and tedious now its destroying me, Warlock is so stale to me and its the class I have always enjoyed. I leveled my rogue to 100 but I hate that too. All the other reasons why I quit are still here, and I don't like any of the stuff in legion, Demon Hunters are lame as fuck and I hate the spectacle creep with legendaries and artifacts.

Most of the people here seem to be newfags that joined in WoD and MoP or minigame plebs that just farm pets and transmog, the few posts I see about PvE are people just complaining. Should I just let my sub run out? I'd really fucking hate to drop 30 euros on legion and another 20 for more game time just so I can level another class that I might enjoy playing.

Vanilla player here. Raiding is pretty stale now to commit to it in a hardcore fashion. WoW is meant to be enjoyed casually by playing all of its content. This is also why WoD was such a trainwreck because it focused so heavily on mediocre raiding content ( along with facebook garrison). Not enjoying classes seems to be your own issue though. WoW still knows how to make classes interesting and fun to play.

Paladin is going to focus on Tank healing/Prot is fairly straightforward with all of its cooldowns just flat reducing damage vs specific types of damage/Ret has buffs and scales better with its artifact but reports are its not quite as engaging as it once was.

Druid has a very mobile HoT based healer, Balance suffers HUGELY from not having its artifact yet but once it gets it becomes a very strong ranged DPS, feral is bleed management and Guardian is a straightforward tank that's relatively easy to learn.

Monk has a very mobile healer in MW, mix of hots/directs/aoe heals so very versatile toolkit. WW has very powerful AoE damage and strong single target as well as great mobility and survivability/Brewmaster scales better with its artifact but is still a very mobile tank great at smoothing incoming damage and self healing.

most people call BrM shit but honestly the class changed drastically with the Legion changes and it's not shit.

What raiding I've done, I've enjoyed. I'd like to commit to raiding regularly at least for 1 tier because I feel like it's something I'd enjoy and like I said my WoW experience feels kind of incomplete because I never did.

How will artefact weapons work regarding PvP ? Wouldn't artefact weapons gain in strength from doing pve , giving those who pve an advantage weapon wise to those only doing PvP ?

If I have no interest in battle pets, but want a rapana whelk pet just to have, what is the least effort way to get one.
