Polish isn't the problem, it's had more polish than most games get. It's been discussed a million times to death, the game looks the way it does because the team behind it is brand new to working in 3D. The only way it would ever look better is if they scrapped it and started over from scratch right now with all of the things they learned up until this point and development took another 2-3 years, which is fucking ridiculous and no one in the world would ever do.

The visuals are fine, there are much uglier games on the PS4 by far and the gameplay is more important.

I think zangief's inadequacies might be most apparent in the offline mirror match

Basically every single option is completely shut down by crouch jab. Uncharged stand fierce is stuffed relentlessly by crouch jab and charged stand fierce has a hilariously large number of ways to be shut down. Jumping has a near-zero chance of working, ever, since his jumpins are ass and your poke has no recovery
