homewrecker doesn't counter pyro. also the dds doesn't just affect sniper vs sniper combat, that extra health and bullet resist affects every single class that uses hitscan bullet weapons. so those 2 or 3 shots as scout that would kill a normal sniper are up to 3 or 4, maybe more, especially if he's overhealed. heavies are even more useless against a DDS sniper than they are against normal snipers, even magic corner bullets won't do shit. pyro's already low flamethrower damage is doing even less because this fucker has 25 more hp, that's a lot compared to how slow afterburn takes effect. that same 25 health also makes it so that even with the extra explosion damage you take, you still won't die to anything that wouldn't kill a normal sniper. in fact, even if you didn't have that 25 hp, you'd still be able to tank a stock rocket or grenade hitting you dead on. meanwhile, what, the homewrecker unsaps buildings and makes you seem like a good guy to your fellow engies. the danger shield makes you look like a cunt to everyone around you. who are you extinguishing with the DDS?
