If you really look the Xbone version is looking worse than the PS4 version. This really shows during the chocobo part.

As for open world, at least they're being restrictive about it. I fucking hated GTAV for giving you the whole map all at once. It all depends on whether XV's map is populated. While the desert is by its definiton a wasteland, the grassier Duscae area has potential, and I hope they don't waste it.

So let's run down the math here:

If you need 27 runs (FUCK AAAAH) to get one hp+15%, that's 405 NRG, or 33.75 HOURS of work.
Not even counting the rest of the mats, some of which you pretty much have to make dedicated runs for.

In JP, even if we round down to 30% Ainsel encounter rate it still only took 250 NRG on average, or 20.83 hours of work. Plus a greatly (GREATLY) reduced time to get the rest of the mats.

So basically, Gumi made it take at least twice as much time to get the same stuff as JP, where it was already considered a ripoff.

Three runs in and it has been pretty good for the materials, many megacites, mythril ores and megacrysts, 1 light per run. If you go for all the battles it seems it goes up to ~70k exp, so pretty nice to farm exp too, only need enough high level units to kill Ainsel

So fair warning, it looks like Zidane has a ~1% chance of being pulled on this banner.

I guess you can look at it that way, come to think of it, once I record dive my team, work on their levels and hone abilities they should be good to go without anything else really, all I really need is someone with hastega since Celes has that 30 ATK/MAG part effect, Minfilla has 50 ATK buff AND Guts, and I got Medica and Wall on Yshtola and Wall on Tyro, I'm pretty much set, hence why I'm not interested in rolling for Ramza anymore(actually it's extremely likely they will give Tyro a new relic for the anniversary)

I guess it's fortunate you don't then. So far I've had one run with only a single stone and the rest of them have all given me two and you only need 20 to craft it anyway so you'd need 20 runs at most. Sure the other materials are a pain in the ass to get, but the event exclusive materials seem to drop at a very reasonable rate. For 60 stamina I've gotten 7 pure stones. Now maybe I've gotten very lucky in my runs so far, but it seems pretty safe to say that it doesn't cost anywhere near twice as much stamina compared to JP to craft this thing.

Russell is doing more damage than the Chizuru friend I brought that has 230 ATK, actually. That's kind of insane. It looks as though you have to multiply his ATK by 1.5x in order to have an idea of how strong he actually is with physical attacks.

It isn't Man-Eater unless it shows a weakness pop up. Likely they just fucked up the multipliers on some of his hits so his regular attack's multiplier is more than 1.
