Bitch please, I'm a hitscan main. My only complaint about Genji was that his hitbox got fucking wonky when he double jumped and that he would constantly bounce around like a retard after getting flashbanged.

The fucking problem with Genji was that heroes that were good at soft shutting him down like S:76 and Pharah were assfucked last patch, so he got to run around and snipe at people with his shurikens until he got a dragonblade all the time even at lower ranks like rank 60.

So, rather than thinking "gee, maybe its too powerful that Genji can force counter-ults all the time? Maybe we should tune down his ult gain to stop this?" they instead remove 2 seconds of his ult that literally do not matter because you still have to counter-ult him and they just try to make him unplayable in general to ensure their waifu Tracer is going to be the only picked flanker in the game?

The matchmaking is my biggest complaint with Overwatch. Blizzard's heavy handed "balancing" is sometimes frustrating, but there is a large cast and most of the characters are fun to play. Penduluming between getting stomped and stomping is not fun. There's a middle zone of great really well fought games but I spend most of the time fighting retards or gods.

Yeah, when she's distracted, she's a free kill. Against a competent Pharah though who has some semblance of situational awareness? Hell no, she's already eyeing possible sniper perches. You can't even hide from her after you've caught her off guard once or twice. Then she becomes a hawk. What's worse is that she doesn't even need to aim to kill you. When you miss your shot, you don't get anything, but she has elevation plus her AOE damage even if she misses, and the knock back throws your aim off. Can't even disengage because she can follow you anywhere and still hit you with the splash damage.

As a 68 Genji main, i find every single one of those nerfs fine, except that triple jump.

Junk's steel trap, great nerf.
Ult time, great nerf(Although I expected much worse).

Even the animation cancelling assassin move. Although it is a very good competitor, I believe good genji players can over come that issue, as regular shurikens plus dash is still fine.

But when a strike at what supposed to be a mobile character is put forth, I feel it's a step too far. Chaining together those jumps is what gave the character fluidity, and without that, what seems to be a minimal thing in his kit gone, it's going to hurt him more so then what the animation cancel could ever do.

Escape routes, jukes, fluidity, and a lot of the fun is gone out of genji.

Tell that to Widowmaker. In the Alive short she's able to stay one step ahead of Tracer the entire time and still kick everyone else's ass, but in-game she can't even spam her grappling hook or hang upside down like a real spider.

I agree with this. I liked Comp's way they did modes, letting both sides do attack and defend and doing KOTH best out of 5. The games just felt more fun and that they meant something. Even the only 1 hero per team is nice. Every QP game today has had heroes we don't need.


First game I joined in QP, everyone picked Hanzos and did trolling Hanzo shit. I quit right away.
