Like normal is
LMB = weapon attack
RMD = block (shield or weapon)

LMB = right hand magic
RMB = left hand magic

And I'd like to get it work like this:

If you haven't decided yet, you should definitely use RM. There is quite literally no real reason not to use RM except for those who are used to ECE too much.

Racemenus sculpt is on so many levels better than what most of ECE as a whole offers, its hardly comparable.

If you plan on editing/smoothing vertices, then you'll really wanna think about it. ECE is great for it, and so is RM. The difference, is that RM's tools are more fine-tuned, while in ECE.

It's like a screwdriver versus an impact driver. They'll both do the same thing, but ECE requires more manual dexterity.

I'd suggest giving RM another shot. I don't think it's about talent. Playing around with it and having fun making random things until eventually it just clicks and you realize the possibilities would be the best approach. Some things are user friendly and easy off the bat, but other things take a bit and then suddenly that light bulb clicks on and you just get it - I feel like Race Menu is one of those things.

That said, ECE or RM, at least it's not TESO's character customization. Bleh.
