Overall, I'm probably gonna add mods to it so it plays out better. Because I'm not really liking being shoved into a well designed landmass while having non-modded combat.

Sky ui tells me I have the wrong version installed, Water loses textures whenever I move and shortly after so does the the rest of the game from time to time, and Combat fucks up whenever I try to fight something in that it redraws my weapons and the animations don't do shit.

This is gonna be a long story. So get comfy


The first came in hard, came in fast, came in low- ambitious. It wasn't foolery or drunkenness that put him at the head of the line. Veit spotted the armor-cracking points of his mace quickly, stepping to the side as he came up the hill.

From his hip to his chest, the first Vigilant swung with all his might, point bared at the Argonian's chestplate. His lungs emptied with an incredible roar, crying "Stendarr" to the northern skies as he smote the Argonian.

Veitizion fell to his back foot and held up his broad shield, and the ring of solid iron meeting pure ebony knocked back the snow around their feet.

Ebony does not break easily. Hard vibrations shot from his hand to his feet, hitting his knees and making his grip weak. As he stumbled back, Veitizion curled his right arm around his neck, ebony gleaming in the sun, and swung, throwing all his weight into the tip of the blade.

If he took on the leader first, it might end poorly. He was a little more experienced, most likely- he could kill him, sure, but it might take a few moments. And a few moments would be all it would take for a crossbow bolt to reach the back of his head. He could take the archer, but exposing his flank to the axeman didn't sound much better.

But, if he could... put a little distance between him and Jon, while taking out the crossbowman...

The last second before they came behind the tree, Veitizion was grinning, wildly. His heart pounded out of control, but it wasn't panic- it was excitement.

Jon coughed out, reaching up limply as he began to pass.

"Y-you..." he coughed, fingers going limp. Veit sheathed his sword, coughing softly, snorting. He blinked, rubbing his eyes, realizing the sleep in his eyes from the morning was still not gone.

"If it makes you feel any better, you won't be the last one stabbed in the lung today."

Leaving Jon to pass, Veitizion continued on in the snow, crushing ice beneath ebony boots.
