We had the eo2u undub team but...

I play all Japanese games dubbed and find them superior to the original voices. Atlus dubs in particular are among the best and far better than the generic hamster girls the JP releases have.

I'm sure the same will be true for EOV.

Ecstasy, along with the 2x damage boost from Trance. It'd utterly break the game in two if it weren't for the very final boss being immune to head binds. Giving your Hexer a Stigmata grimoire makes setting it up a cinch.
Combat Medics get really fun once you level up their stunlock a whole bunch.

It's my favorite EO game, since 2 has always had my favorite setting, class roster and plot but was always bogged by shitty balance and design choices. U2 fixes all of its issues while keeping the things I liked there, and the Story mode is much more enjoyable than U1's.

IMO it has the best one along 3, 4 is nice but I like the little story there and the artstyle (dunno, I really like how the game and the dungeons look overall, they're nice), and the 2 NPCs are so god damn lovable (Quona is the most adorable little thing, Cass is a bro and the minister's voice makes me laugh for some reason)

Once decrypted and unpacked, 1U is packed yet again in a game specific file system, HPIH.
And in there are the sound files for the voices.
Extracting it is possible; someone made a tool for that but he does not want to create a repacker (if we had that, an undub would be possible).
They didn't use this file system for 2U for some reason.

And yes, it applies to EOV as well. No undub unless someone makes a repacker.

I just started on Etrian Odyssey III DS myself.

Is it normal that every new floor I get to is a lot harder than the last? I expected it to get harder every floor, but not to get wiped out every unlucky encounter.
Seems like every floor has a group of enemies that is ridiculously hard, and don't even get me started on 5 at once.

lol. No. You walk at that speed and love it. That's all Atlus decided you needed. Besides, it helps you take in your surroundings better. If you could just dash and shit, you'd run into FOEs.

The newer iterations of EO have dash, though, IV, EOU1, and EOU2. The older ones, nah. Sorry. If you need to move fast, find shortcuts.

I've got multi hit attacks on my Arbalist and Gladiator, with Wildling running Status Ailments/De-Buffs/general attacks, Princess running Healing/Buffs/general attacks and Hoplite trying to tank.

The main reason I died is that I played Persona Q too much, I keep pressing L to scan the targets and activating Auto Battle..
I also always hold B while walking, even though it doesn't do anything.

Once I break my habits, I'll be all good.
