Is Discipline Priest a fully fledged Healer like other Healers or is it supposed to be a "Well we could use a bit more healing, just for safety, but more damage also couldn't hurt" ?

They are extremely powerful but the spec has a bad stigma due to the community forcing a "70% healer 30% DPS!!!!!!" meme that isn't true. Discussion of the spec is very divided even now with only a few weeks to go before launch, half of high end raiding guilds think its trash and the other half think that having at least one is required due to the DPS and amazing burst healing potential.

Mythic+ dungeons are a different story since you are forced into picking Grace and there will be situations where you can't rely on other healers and have to resort to Shadowmend spam.

I almost feel like a mythic+ group would want a disc in a DPS spot helping with some of the tougher affixes. With the right talents you can still have a really good burst phase for DPS and helping the healer not drown in overall damage is always helpful.

They did do some decent writing for him, stonetalon questline was great, and his exchange with Sylvanas was one of the most satisfying in game moments I've had.

Ultimately I would have been fine with the hitler shit and him going full asshole IF it meant MoP was the last expansion with 2 factions, Alliance should have dismantled the Horde, no fucking reason for it to exist anymore. Especially when we end up teaming up literally every expansion to take down the big bad, doubly so when you actually look at the races that comprise the Horde and how ZERO of them make sense to band together anymore. Everyone has their own agenda, everyone could easily join the Alliance(barring Forsaken and Orcs)

Form a fucking Grand Alliance already that is like the fucking UN so they can all have their own storylines, but join up for larger threats. That would be FAR more compelling than this, WE HATE YOU, OH WAIT HERE COMES BIG BAD X, LETS TEAM UP, OH WAIT HE'S DEAD FUCK YOU AGAIN!!!!

I really like Frost with Glacial Spike. Feels more fun than waiting for crit then unloading as Fire. Arcane is 50/50, right now the burn phases feel awkward personally.

Right now? Disc, there's not a single dungeon (barring cms but why would do them now anyway) that you can't cope with, holy for higher mythic+ in legion just because the damage output can get high especially with 2 affixes active. But right now leveling or at end game you'll find yourself having half your time free to dps anyway so you might as well kill things quicker and heal at the same time.
