If you don't go first you're pretty much screwed since the good decks are able to disrupt your plays. If you go first, or second, and win you still have to play against that deck going first game 2 with a side deck as well as game 3 with them siding in hand traps up the ass. That's what I think is stopping the deck but that's with very little thought and the OCG gets weird at times so it could do well

I'm trying to build a Black Luster deck that focuses on Super Soldier's effects and effects that come with the kid knights, namely destroying monsters by battle. I'm looking for help narrowing down the deck closer to 40 cards and hopefully making room for some staples like titty twister and solemn brigade.

Some immediate problems that might jump out are that I'm not using the OG Black Luster Solider, his ritual spell, or preprep. In order to force battles as the theme of this build using Savage Colosseum and Final Attack Orders, I can't have the 9 cards that running him would take. Scrubbed Raid is to stall and/or wipe the opponent's monsters out on their turn with Colosseum. I was thinking of trying to fit in Light of Intervention that way I would force only face up attack monsters from my opponent to ram themselves against Super Solider, but currently I don't have room for it. Anti-magic arrows are more for my turn when I go to attack.

I had tried in a previous build to run RoTA, Foolish, and 141 and to tech in things like Glow-Up and Jet to make Crystal Wing and such but didn't find it helping. I could try again, but with only 2 targets for RoTA it didn't seem worth it unless I ran something like Armageddon Knight. I didn't think about the ritual dijinns, so thank you! The only problem with Demolisher is it is level 3, which would be a bit harder to use than sticking to 4, 7,1. Even if I stick to the normal Luster and his ritual so I don't need to be exact, I'd be wasting more monsters to make it. I could try subbing out Sphere Kuriboh for Disserere of Rituals and maybe not need anti-magic arrows? I'm not sure yet what would be better. Zephryos is a good idea, but unfortunately Gateway is restricted to once per turn so it gets useless rather quickly even though I want to open with one.

What do you all think of this? I put one Super Soldier and his ritual so I have more targets for Manju and so his ritual spell can SS a Luster if I need to. The logic behind it is similar to running one of Buster Blader's quickplay fusion spells.

I'm still not completely satisfied, since I'd rather run max copies of Manju and Charging, but to have room for the Super Soldier stuff and enough copies of the djinns to make running them relevant, I had to cut them to two.

It's a great card, but many players can't see why at first glance. The problem with Magician of Faith is twofold; she only works well in slower formats and her power is directly tied to whatever Spells are legal in the format. This is why in super-slow Goat Control format she was amazing, as resolving Duo, PoG, Graceful or Metamorphosis a second time almost guaranteed victory.

What power spells do we have now? Pantheism banishes itself and can be recycled by Edea. Return of the Dragon Lords banishes itself, and you'd rather use your Normal on a Sage. Pot of Desires loses its lustre after its first activation; the banishing cost makes it too costly to use more than maybe twice.

Does super poly not work on generic fusions like metalfoes? I tried it and it discarded but then went to the grave. Next turn I used it and it worked. I only had Lunalight Panther Dancer on the field + a metalfoe.
