I'm the kind of person who always farms all support conversations but I'm not sure how do to go about it in this game. I hear there is no farming in Conquest so that might be a problem and that you get most characters in Revelation anyway and I don't plan to go through the trouble more than once unless the conversations are drastically different from Conquest and Birthright. Alright I don't get it. On Lunatic/Classic Chapter 5 you basically have to repeat the chapter over and over again until you get lucky because two units on the bottom half of the map will always attack one of your units and the other 3 will advance towards you and hit the weakest unit in the next round. Am I missing something or what because I'm really tempted to just restart on an easier difficulty which I feel would remove all the challenge though.

Xander would still be fine without Siegfried due to his good class and stat spread, the sword is just what pushes him into broken territory. His only issue is AS since it starts slightly below average but the game practically throws things left and right at you to patch up AS in Fates anyways. Once Xander is in doubling range (which takes... basically no time at all in either route he's in) he's arguably the best unit in Fates flat out in terms of stats; an 8 movement, 1-2 range, high Defense, high Str, doubling unit.
