Considering that the closest english word that I know is gale, I've always been torn about that name's pronunciation. Is it ギール? ジェイル? How is anyone who's never read the katakana supposed to know

Mostly, Gele just bothers me because the name of her era is GL. If you keep Jill, rename it to JL. If your worried about pronunciation, call her Gel. Keep things consistent at least. That sort of thing stands out like a sore thumb and brings up more questions and inconsistencies than anything else, which I think is the worst thing you can do as a translator or with nameshit. After watching rance vi op by MG, i'm a little confused. Sill calls Rance master Rance and Kanami calls Lia queen Lia, but Grandhi uses honorifics to call his servants.
Personally, I would love Aru keeping the Japanese honorifics instead of translating them, but he seems to dislike it in the game he translated before.
