They're only built for specific game modes. Literally every other Halo map in every other game was built to support all or almost all game types.

I've noticed something.
This is the third time a Halo 3 map has been featured.

Why do almost all halo 3 maps have so little aesthetic variation from one another. It's all either burnt savanah grass, chrome structures, or burnt savanah grass with chrome structures.

Go ahead and veto snowbound all you want, but it's at least one of the only launch maps that looks at all noticable different.

For H2 solo is recommended because of the iron skull. For H2 you're going to rely mostly on speedrunning for the most part as the modifiers rape you every time along with H2 legendary being the hardest in the series.

I've slazo'd every campaign except Guardians (because I really don't give a shit about the Guardians campaign) and I can tell you some solid advice.

Yes, watch videos, pay attention, and take tips from them, but DO NOT attempt to mirror exactly what happens in the videos. Things will not work the same in your run-through and it will leave you very frusterated.
The better way to train is to continuously run through individual levels on legendary until you have the enemy positions and level map down to a T. Then start putting individual skulls on. That's what worked for me.
Yes, it's time consumibg, but the noticable improvement you will see yourself making will be satisfying enough to justify it.

The hardest thing about LASO is the intimidation factor of it. Anybody can do it and once they beat their first LASO mission, the majority of the denial leaves.

I think 3 has the least variety in map aesthetic (the DLC maps helped a bit) of the Bungie games, but if we're talking about the whole franchise then yeah, every map in 5 looks exactly the fucking same. And it doesn't help 5's case that there's remixes all over the place.

Eh, Halo 2 definitely has an over abundance of Earth City-ish maps, but they're still pretty well balanced out with various types of forerunner, covie, and even flood-inspired maps.
Plus, pretty much every mission in the game, including cut missions, are represented with at least one multiplayer map.

iTunes has both volumes of the Halo 2 OST.
Vol. 1 is select tracks as originally recorded without being modified for gameplay presented in a more traditional album format, including vocal tracks from guest bands promoting the game like Incubus, Steve Vai, Hoobastank, and of course Breaking Benjamin.

Vol. 2 is set up to be more of a true soundtrack and follows the progression of the campaign with lengthy "suites" of music.

Both of them are excellent.

I like how the logo from each game accurately represents the visual aesthetic of its game.

CE is all about the ring, which is fitting because that's where the whole game takes place.

2 is super shiny and prestigious, self-advertising itself as the new and improved Halo sequel you have been waiting for.

3 has a rustic look to it, like it's got a mystical quality to it that says the fight is about to be finished.

Nobody forced 343 to follow up on reach's gameplay.

Reach loadout werent player made, they were pre selected and only one or 2 modes actually had different weapons. The rest only had different armor abilities.

That's nothing in comparison to 2 perks, custom primary weapon, custom secondary weapon, whatever armor ability you want, and whatever grenades you want in nearly every mode

Hell I am from /v/ and I am wondering if you guys have more insight as to what went on behind the scenes with Halo 5. I think the gameplay is good and having an early beta that wasnt just "heres a demo of the full game" helped out in that regard but the rest of it feels really mismanaged and 343 isnt so transparent like Bungie who put their behind the scenes up and downs on the special edition DVD.

They actually posted multiple Vidocs before Halo 5's launch. In terms of community interaction i feel like they're way ahead of Bungie. It took Bungie like a year or more to add community made mapa into matchmaking while 343 did it in 1 month i think. Also they really listen to the feedback stuff for maps, modes and stuff.
