I could use some tips on how to play Persona 3 correctly. It always feels like my characters could use some levels but how do you level when the game give you hardly any exp? If you want to level, make it a goal to fight every enemy you encounter while completely exploring a floor. Don't just climb the staircase the second you find it.

Persona fusing is all about experimentation. There isn't exactly a "wrong" way to do it because the game really isn't that difficult. Mix personas.

It's often useful to fuse together Personas that are past their usefulness, level wise.

It's also a good idea to fuse personas you get out of the shuffle, as they're usually bare bones personas without many skills and are sometimes under-leveled for where you find them.

Try to make sure your set of personas is well-rounded. Always be sure you have a team of personas that have a wide variety of elemental and physical skills as well as a wide variety of strengths and weaknesses.

Buffs, debuffs, and status ailment relief spells also help, so don't ignore them.

If your Persona has a skill you particularly find useful, but it's starting to get underleveled, try as best you can to be sure that the persona you fuse it into will inherit that spell.

Everything you store in your personal inventory is on record in the compendium in the condition it was acquired, to fuse anything later just pay the fine and buy them back.

Having Orpheus and Asparas in your inventory and equipping either one will allow you to cast a marvelous little spell called cradenza, which is a 1/3 life heal and evasion and accuracy up on all party members. it's universally applicable pretty much throughout the game but the SP is a PERCENTAGE of your total pool so it gets ridiculously expensive compared to full party full health heals later on.

Not necessary. The evolved versions of MC/FeMC's original persona is obtained through fusion. You need to use the original persona in that fusion, but it's already saved in your compendium, so you'll be able to re-summon it out whenever.

I'm starting to replay P1P after a few years. When you get those plot level-ups that bring everyone close to Piercy's level, did their persona levels get those same level-ups? I remember I fucking hated everyone being close to 10 levels behind Piercy and Maki.
