I guess I need to try more Reaper. I often feel like McCree is the only thing keeping my team from getting mutilated by flankers, though, and none of the other McCrees I've run into at this level seem to be capable of taking out Tracers etc.

I've watched a lot of top McCree and Tracer gameplay (Surefour, Mendo, IDDQD, etc.) and learned a lot about how to play them, but I find that I can't really translate it into solo queue because I don't have the team backup that they do.

I can't speak for everybody, but I've really been fucked in the ass by solo queue.

I just don't know what to do to get out of this pit. Every fight goes the same way for me - a 6v6 starts, I quickly pick one or two enemies, and then suddenly realize that my team has been curbstomped and I'm in a 1v4. It just repeats like that over and over again, and I think a lot of why my overall elims/damage are so low are because so many games end in like 3 minutes for me. Solo queue has just been an endless succession of losing and then getting a card that says I did 50% of the total team damage or whatever, and I'm going nuts.

The only way I can see carrying games is if I'm able to essentially solo kill 4 out of the enemy 6 in every single teamfight, and there's just no way I'm ever going to be that good at the game.

Symetra rework ideas:

Photon Shield: Instead of granting shields she converts the first 50 units of a hero's health bar to have the regen property of shields. There is no increase in hero HP but they regenerate up to 50 health/armor/shields. Heroes that have shields will gain increased regen rates and reduced cooldown timer for shield regen to start.

Energy Ball: Speed increased to 20 meters per second instead of 10. Can bounce off one wall before dissipating. Full charge damage reduced to 100, min charge damage increased to 35. Charges 25% faster.

Teleporter: Refunds 50% charge if destroyed before any hero uses it. If used once it refunds nothing. Charge builds 15% faster. Symetra herself doesn't consume a teleport charge use.

Sentry: Turrets now have 25 Hp. Turret cooldown reduced to 6 seconds. Instead of placing each turret with a lengthy animation she now lauches them from her gun on to any surface with a 20 meter range. (The idea is to allow her more options during an enemy push. Before you had rely on them walking into your sentry nest, this would allow you to sneakily toss a sentry behind an enemy push or into room where they are hiding/holding.)

I like the idea/play style of Symetra providing area-denial but currently her only way to do that is to hope the enemy walks into her trap, she's very limited once you break (and even during) holding the first point of a map.
