So I didn't pay any money for it, but its better than any other mouse I've ever used. The main thing I'd say, is the weight, and the program that comes with it for adjustments. Although mine isn't the chroma one, those game way way later.

Yeah, one of the cons I've read is that it doesn't last as long as some of the other more durable mice, however its comfort-ability and precision were huge pros. Also, I'd only use the mouse for gaming only, so that should also preserve its lifespan.

I'm also assuming there's software that comes with the mouse that will allow me to change its DPI settings? I'm seeing it has a max of 10,000 dpi and I'm really hoping I can lower it as needed, because apparently 1000-2000 is the ideal range, with some people preferring 400 even.

55+ is very different from 45-55, which to me, was different from 35-45.

35-45, you can group, and simply dominate. If you are stuck here, you are just bad at the game, or solo queuing like an idiot. Lots of Widowmaker and Hanzo picks that can't aim, useless bastion picks, and idiots who get shutdown by a turret. I tilted once and ended up at 38.

45-~55,play the meta and you win - and solo queuing is a bit easier. At the low 50s a bit more skill is involved, but at the high 40s is more about coordination.

55+, IMO was everyone plays the meta, and being garbage at this rank means you aren't skilled enough. Dropping from here usually means your losses were your fault. Widowmaker picks here are usually good and people actually fucking switch.

Being in 55+, in hindsight, was the most fun I ever had - I just didn't take my games seriously enough. Losing games in 45-53 just seems like an exercise in futility, at 55+ I actually felt my losses were deserved and needed to go back and study what I did wrong.

Having time limited skins, with no way to work towards them, makes the game less fun overall

Since the event started, I've started playing less Overwatch per day than at any point since release, culminating in playing none over the past 5 days when I used to play every night. I think I've nailed down why this is. This event has made opening loot boxes something I hate rather than look forward to.

Previously, every box got me closer to my goal of getting my next skin. I'd either get something outright and be very happy, or get credits (dupes) that I could save up to purchase it. That isn't the case any longer. If I don't get the skin I want in one box I'm no closer to getting it than I was before. There's no progression. /Nothing/ I have done so far contributes in any way to me getting the skin I want and there's nothing I can do to change that.

Add on top of this, I now only have a limited amount of attempts to get a specific skin. Every box I open without getting what I want feels like a failure. Not only am I disappointed I didn't get what I want, I feel like the time I spent working towards earning the box, or the money I spent, was wasted. I'm constantly under pressure to play more than I want because I'm on a timer. Overwatch has become an obligation rather than an escape and eventually I've just stopped playing altogether to remove the frustration. Blizzard themselves have realized timed rewards are a bad idea back on Diablo 3 as expressed here: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/20420494255#8 When you reward playing at specific times, you cause your playerbase burnout chasing the timed rewards and make playing at any other time less rewarding by definition.

With the recent indication of the seasonal events being the main way of releasing new skins I honestly feel like Overwatch has lost its appeal.
