My first playthrough, I kind of led Warren on in hindsight. I went in blind and originally thought he was funny, and I wanted Max to have a love interest of some kind. After the pool scene, I knew only Chloe could be her soulmate.

I liked her simplistic taste the most honestly. I like max the most when she's dresses in those nice jeans, those converses, her sweet hoodie and cute print t-shirts.

Max's low self-esteem is really misplaced, but I guess that's why it's tragic in a way. Max doubts herself when it's proven by so many people that she can do tons of stuff very well. Thankfully by the end of the game she realizes just a girl and doesn't have to be perfect to be good. She's awesome in her own way.

But for her fashion sense specifically, she dresses how she's comfortable. The gallery outfit is her putting her mind to creating an outfit for a special occasion. My favorite thing about it (aside from the overall look) is how you can see where Max put her own tastes into it, as well as inspiration from Chloe and Rachel.

I think with a talent in something that requires inherently aesthetic sensibilities, it's not too surprising. The boots are maybe a bit more than I would have expected her to go with, but again, it's still tame enough.

But under all that is a decent guy. I can see why Rachel would have liked him and why Chloe developed some kind off friendship with him. Listening to how Chloe talks about him, he seemed like a sort of mentor to her and she knew he wasn't totally bad. She just forgot that in her competition for Rachel- a competition which neither of them won.
By the end of the game they both realize their fighting is pointless. Whenever they meet up again, I can see Chloe and Frank just relaxing and talking about the past. As well as Frank busting Chloe's chops about how obviously in love with Max she is.

Whenever I hear that "To All Of You" song that played in the hallway in episode 1, all I can think about is the simplistic innocence that existed there when I was playing for the first time, blind to all of the crazy events that would unfold later... just enjoying the cozy fall atmosphere and petty high school drama.

From the way Chloe spoke about him he was definitely a more chill dude before Rachel was killed. Remember how Max called him a creep and Chloe said he's not a creep and she actually spoke kinda fondly about when they were chill together.

I'm not sure where I would draw the line personally. Obviously, episode one was the most innocent and shit slowly but surely got more real from that point on, but my peak feels were probably around the morning after the pool scene, before David busted in. If I could have just stopped time there... Everything was so chill and laid back.

After that, everything got dark as fuck with all of the alternate timelines and whatnot. By episode four, I was in full-on "What have I gotten myself into?" mode. And episode 5... I didn't even know what the fuck was real or not by that point, and the nightmare scenes were legitimately disturbing given the context. That's what is so heart-wrenching about this game, it grabs your heart and slowly tugs at the strings until it just rips it straight out of your chest.

Chloe is too much of a rebel to do something so domestic as getting married...at least for now. Max clearly loved Chloe as a friend, and as you said she doesn't put much thought into her love life. It's only during that week and all she goes through that she realizes she loves Chloe.

As for the marriage thing, it may actually be fitting for Chloe. She wants someone to stay with her, she's somewhat possessive, and she wants to love (and be loved by) someone. Marriage is supposed to be the ultimate form of that stuff. Where she can say "That's MY wife" when talking about Max, a role that nobody else will ever occupy in her life. Or a role that nobody but Chloe will occupy in Max's life.
Plus Chloe has a lot of William in her so she may have dreams deep down of finding love and having a family.

I really do think the term "Chloesexual" has some real application to Max beyond a joke. Chloe is all she really knows when it comes to being close to someone or even to romance. Most of the things Max sees as attractive are because of Chloe. Even her dreams when she was younger involved Chloe in some way, although in the past it was just them traveling as friends.
Chloe always had some presence or influence in Max's life, even when she wasn't physically there. That's why Max struggles in Seattle and even in Blackwell initially, and why in just one week she grows so much. She got back a part of her life that she was missing. Same thing happened for Chloe.

I can't really say, but I'll try. Gonna concentrate on "Pricefield" scenes though - there's others I like for other reasons too.

"Favourite":
- Episode 1: Telling Chloe about the crazy shit by the lighthouse, holding on to each other, visually just stunning too
- Episode 2: The junkyard (and entire episode really) is full of some of my favourite scenes - Resting in Chloe's lap, balancing and lying on traintracks, all the hugs...
- Episode 3: Splish-splash
- Episode 4: AU final scene
- Episode 5: Beach/Ripping the polaroid on the cliff

"Hated":
- Episode 1: David being a douche
- Epsiode 2: Frank being a douche
- Episode 3: Diner scene - the "puzzle" was more of a going through motions, the knowledge we acquire is not particularly interesting at all, Max could have tried to get so much more out of Nathan
- Episode 4: I would say Vortex party because the placing and pacing was so off
- Episode 5: The Dark Room and how it went from eerie and dark to "You dumb cunt. :)"

Actually, scratch that - I think "Well's Office" is my "most hated" Episode 2 scene. It seems contrived in that there's no reason to blame anyone but Nathan, and that we cannot talk about everything we know but are then asked to sign some shitty agreement. Let alone that they roast and potentially suspend Max after she JUST witnessed (or prevented) her friend (attempt to) jump off of a roof.

5. Alternate Reality Chloe asking you to help her end her life

None of them were bad scenes necessarily, but they were either too sad or just angering.

One I forgot to mention, is the scene in Episode 4 when Max makes it back to the timeline where they were putting together evidence about Rachel. I loved that one because of how happy Max was to see original Chloe back again with the blue hair. That song "In My Mind" framed the scene perfectly...and let's be honest, any scene in Chloe's room is bound to be good.

5. Chloe's breakdown in the truck towards the end of Ep 3. We see her true feelings and her fears.
4. The scene between the 'real' and alt timeline where Max has to let William walk out the door. She comforts Chloe and apologizes, although Chloe doesn't know why, and then Max wakes up and is ecstatic to see *her* Chloe.
3. The segment of the nightmare where Max realizes she's good enough for Chloe (The Dark Room part, the diner where Chloe sets her free from 'Evil-Max', the final walk to the lighthouse. The final journal entry.)
2. Saving Kate.
1. Max tearing apart the photo and standing on the cliff with Chloe.

Worst:
5. The nightmare stealth sequence.
4. Jefferson in the Dark Room (Just all of it. His ranting, his moodswings, his fight with David)
3. Nathan and Victoria getting killed off and having no idea if they live or not in the end.
2. The Vortex Club party. There was such a buildup to it throughout the game of it having some meaning. Or a fear that Chloe was going to do something like get into a gun fight with Nathan and hit tons of people. But nothing happened. Only redeeming factor was talking with Victoria (And "You suck Victoria!" after her speech)
1.The scene where Max convinces Chloe not to go to the junkyard during the party (This was a moment I was excited for for a long time and ready to see some real emotional pay off. Perhaps Chloe remembering Max's words from the day her dad died, and coming to the realization that Max knew/did something. As well as a commitment to stay together and to warn people about the storm, but DONTNOD did nothing with this amazing potential of a scene.)

Imaginary: Max and Chloe being together in Seattle, with Max's parents, and Chloe getting a phone call from Joyce and David for the first time after the storm.
