Johan is an Autist.

He does not like how Paradox is dealing with their games. He doesn't like the DLC policy, he doesn't like the casualization, he doesn't like the SWEDEN YES-tier intrusions to his historical simulators.

And yes, he privately laments on not making the games more like simulators and less like platforms for easy fun and DLC.

He's a sub-par male specimen due to his physical health, but he likes his games. He just can't do anything but go with the company's flow, he is silenced and basically acts as a lunch-time bug-tester and balancer, a face of Paradox PR and a testemant to past age of Paradox GS games.

He still occasionally plays EU2 and his earlier games, that is more we can say about the newer, more 'progressive' employees at the company.

Johan is an Autist.

He was the creative designer on Stellaris, nothing more. He had a more prominent role in EU4 as the lead for Game Design, but was heavily constrained by release schedule and Wester (CEO) influencing the development to create a more profitable platform for DLC and easy fun. Johan had an even bigger role in the development of CK2 as it's Producer for it's initial development back in 2012, and less constrained by a still transient Wester who had not discovered the perfect formula for profit. CK2, at the time, was an 'okay' game that many people could have seen being improved to be better than CK1, and more.

CK2's DLC was not developed in any way by Johan, and look at the game now.

Games previous to CK2 are either acceptable or more high up there in autistry, while Paradox was still a small (sub-40 employees) yet growing company and Johan still had a voice that was listened to.

When you sphere a country you get access to a % of its internal market. It counts as a part of your own own internal market, so tariffs don't apply and the RGO is first sold to your country and then the world.

So let's say you are Italy trying to buy coffee from Ethiopia, but the UK has a higher rank than you so they buy all the coffee and you get nothing. In this case, Ethiopia isn't sphered, they sell everything to the world market and the UK buys everything because it has a higher rank.

When you sphere Ethiopia though, since they are an unciv, you get 100% access to their market, so you treat their own internal market as your own internal market. That means that instead of selling to the world market and then the UK, Ethiopia is selling to you first. Whatever they don't sell to you they sell it in the world market.
Let's say Ethiopia is civilized country. If you sphere them, 75% of their coffee will be sold to you while 25% will go to the world market (and they get money off tariffs from that). If they are a SP, you only have access to 50%.

Spherelings are treated as part of the sphere-owner internal market. So if Ethiopia is sphered by the UK, they will buy shit from the world market as if they had the UK rank. I'm pretty sure that tariff money for this doesn't go the sphereling but the sphere owner, so Ethiopia would pay the UK to import shit for them. Pay is a poor choice of words actually, they wouldn't make any money from tariffs while the UK makes money from the goods you are importing.

If they are a SP, the UK can get 50% of the imported goods as tariffs and the other 50% Ethiopia would get from tariffs.

That isn't the wiki, that's the manual.

Your capitalists can ONLY get money from factories. So when a pop promotes to capitalist in a state without factories working, they get dirty poor and demote after a while. Exception is if they have savings, I think. Only aristocrats can fall in that category though.
Factories need to come before the capitalists.
Your solution would be set rich tax to 0% and encourage capitalists until one starts a project, then invest in it.

Factories have an internal budget and work as a separate entity. When they are built, they start with some money in the bank and will use that to pay its debts. They lay off people to not lose too much money but when the factory money gets to 0, they close.
Capitalists don't pay anything to factories, they only receive money. The only time when they spend money on factories is when they invest.
