Despoil is really good now.

You can get globes of 150 hp that will heal you up to full hp,its very good.
Basically you never get to low hp (if you dont get destroyed by grineer/corpus)

Keep in mind i was using sancti tigris and high slash weapons for maximum body pieces.

It might just be cuz I have 0 forma in my Nekros (and I'm not putting forma in with Prime a week away), but there's so much shit to build for. You need >200% str to hit SoS DR cap; you need duration otherwise SotD die extremely quick; you need efficiency because you need to spam 4 to heal your shadows; you can't even dump range because otherwise your shadows will never be in range to provide DR.

And even if you go manage to dump forma in him, all you get is a shitty tank ability that you constantly need to maintain, especially if you're moving around and not camping

at 214% strength you get the full 90% dmg reduction from SoS and your shadows have nearly 400% health and damage to their normal counterparts meaning they will not be dying in the fight and healing them is easy
refresh once every 12 seconds and you are pretty much invincible+you give enemies a team of their own OP bullshit buffed 400% to fight against

if nekros p has a significant buff to his energy pool which enables him to have more than 155 when brought down to a quarter with P.flow on then you will be able to dump efficiency and add some range but for the moment don't

if you set aside scaling issues (rounding and energy regen artifacts, flat values, etc), you can just break down energy pool and power cost to casts per pool - so even though you manage a cost of 95 and pool of 105, you're paying a lot of mod cap for it and still only managing 1 cast per full pool, while you could achieve the same thing (25 cost,. 37 pool) more cheaply by increasing your efficiency and even leaving your energy pool untouched (and in many cases the scaling issues would result in this being more effective purely from an "uptime" standpoint as you have a smaller pool and flat values are relatively much higher to the total)

there is no efficient combination of this that puts together all the variables I managed
what I put together here is a self sustained build that has max surviability fast energy regen under all circumstances and plays perfect into the strengths of his abilities
anything less in any department and it is pretty much useless

Well, I guess we all now know where to farm for relics when the new ones are released.
The bad news is, if you look at the relics and arcanes part of the codex, you will see just how many different relics drop in the specific nodes.
Also, keep in mind if a relic or arcane only drops in nodes you have yet to unlock or do, you still might not see it in the codex.

In other words, doing the whole star chart, even the clan owned nodes, will allow you to see where these relics might be found.
