Did you know that you can react to the telegraph of a UGS 2HR2 at point-blank range by turning your character and sprinting backwards? Barring an opponent from brazil or some other 3rd-world pinghole, you'll make it out of range of their attack safely in time to turn around and punish, all without any concern for spacing or iframe timing

Most of the paired weapons are stronger on a quality build.
Literally the only ones that benefit most from hollow are the twindaggers. Twinspears, twin hammers, twinaxes, twinblades, gotthard's and dancer's are all quality weapons strongest on a 40/40 refined build. The reason dancer's are shit on your build, unsurprisingly, is because they are uninfusable quality weapons that don't scale with luck at all.

I hope you're ready for dark, poorly textured caves, more bloodborne asset reuse (Isz chalice, here we come!) and a blatant rehash of the same gothic cathedral environment we already played through, but now with a slightly different layout.

In all honesty, expect the dlc to be like DaS1's and Bloodborne's; simple, uninteresting level design with heavy asset reuse offset by great enemies and bosses and so many new weapons, spells and items that many of them will seem to have just been awkwardly handed to you because there wasn't enough meaningful space in the level to fit them all

To be honest, that enemy's animations looked awful and it was legitimately one of the most difficult chalice enemies to fight properly because of how badly it telegraphed everything with that really uncanny chain physics and clunky animating.

Ironic, since they literally recycled the overhead 1-2 smash as the Beast Cutter's tricked heavy attacks, but they look much better on that weapon -probably because they were designed for it in the first place and then cut to be added as dlc later.

DLC fixed wast majority of BB's problems but DS3 doesn't have them right now so i can't really compare them.

Most areas in Bloodborne introducing 1 new enemy type and situates them among recycled enemies from Central Yharnam. The enemy variety in Bloodborne was absolutely abysmal. It was honestly a baffling decision to dedicate so many unique assets to chalice dungeons when so few players ever actually ended up bothering with them. It very obviously came at the expense of the main game's quality.

I say that, but at least they existed. DaS3 seems to have suffered from the same design approach as BB's main game, but without the excuse of "but we stuck a bunch of unique things in randomized, procedurally generated farming dungeons for you to complete over and over again"

There are a few useful weapon combinations in PvP.

Some that I can think of:

>off hand thrusting sword, curved sword or katana
They can all parry and you can chain an attack after a kick.

Use the special attack for nasty "parry bs" bleed chain.
