Resto has a largest toolkit of all the healers now. Consistent heals? Gotcha.
Instance "heal-on-the-move"? Got that too.
Brs for raid testing? Have that.
Burst heals/absorbs/shares for heavy pressure bosses? Nailed it.
It's quite awesome, actually. I think rshammy has the highest skillcap of all healspecs right now, simply because you have so much tools to adapt to the enviroment.
So yeah, definitely fun.

Yes it is a borefest. Previously you had a two/three button rotation and two panels of utility/burst/save spells/totems, so on one hand it was an easy spec to get into, but on the other, it had somewhat high utility skillcap. You'd never sit there doing nothing while your main damage spells were on cd.
Now all you have to do is keep two buffs up and float around 80-90 maelstorm. Little to no utility. One shitty save. Enjoy playing this for the rest of the expansion.

They will be fun. Heres the thing, you may not like their lore or all the Illidan circlejerking but they are a hero class and are naturally imbalanced. Just like early DK's they will wreck everything and it will be a good time then they will be slowly nerfed until they are inline with everyone else.

DK's in wrath were impossibly good for pve and really good in pvp. DH will be the same thing if the beta is any indicator. Make one and play it sometime in Legion before the big nerfs roll in.

Elune is the only known "god" in the warcraft universe, being at least one order of magnitude above Sargeras and at least two above all the other gods like the titans and old gods. She is the creator and tied very closely to life magic and the wild gods. She also is represented by the moon and the arcane and moonfire is an arcane spell.

In the new cosmology of warcraft Life and its nature magic are placed right beside order and its arcane magic. What do you get with life and order? Creation.

Elune is a Deity that resides between the fundamental forces of light and order which makes room for 5 more gods in that pattern. Across from life is death and across from order is disorder. Elune would be diametrically opposed (see what I did there) to the god on that side of the cosmology who would be the combination of disorder and death which would be the realm of destruction.

which was exactly my point. As for pve they were perfectly fine for any raid but what set them apart was how fast they could level and do the dailies (which were numerous in wrath). Their pacing was better than any other class because mitigation and healing were all done with synergy to damage.

The class was far better designed than any other because it was designed for that expansion rather than adapted for that expansion.

Also lets not forget DK pvp was full mongoloid in WoD for everything but arenas, which it still had good representation in meta comps.

Mages always end up good in expansions even if they start out iffy. Warlocks are godlike in prepatch and are looking good at 110. Druids are versatile and always have at least one spec that is competitive in pve and/or pvp.

Warriors are agonizing to level, if you want one you might consider that.

I would also add monks to the do not boost list, they level fast.
