So, I'm considering moving to WoW from XIV because of the horrible raid scene, and because Legion seems nice. I tried it a few times but never really got into it, I guess because I felt a lack of structure?

For your first character, can you just grind through dungeons? I always felt I was missing something not doing quests and unlocking the flight paths.

You're shifting themes all over the place, human. Yes, this is an issue when you do it about five times a day, for more than two years. It's been such a relief when I rerolled into Horde. Everything is in nice circular order, no fucked up bank NPCs stacking on one another. Design flaws, mudshacks, blah-blah-blah. You can't take away the practicality of horde garrison, it's superiour in almost every way. The only real issue is: yes, it's a lot harder to get to places when you don't have lv3 and/or flying.

You should do quests at the current expansion (100-110 in legion), they're relevant to unlock a lot of stuff you'll want/need. You can grind dungeons upwards, flight points are useless once you get flying skill yourself. All of those specs will be relevant.

How can people play Resto Druid? Its so fucking brainless and strong. Its like I can just mash my dick on the keyboard and everyone is fully healed, I can jump around like a retard and still heal as much as any other healer. I can just fucking turn into a bear or a cat and dps for a while because everyone is hotted up and healthy.

How can anyone find this fun to play? It blows my mind, I log into my druid to run some timewalking and see the changes, slap some random talents because I can't be bothered to read through the whole thing. I queue solo so its 100% chance my group is the most ass possible and I am still bored to death.

Sorry about the rant lads but I main healers since ever and every time I expect they change Druids to be fun to play but they are always retarded strong, with a big emphasis on RETARD.

Unless you've got a mage/shaman tower, Alliance is better positioned geographically by far, which mattered quite a lot for 80% of the expansion.

No, that's not all. You have all your buidings in a circular order, as I mentioned above. This makes them much easier to access, since Alliance garrison forms is a cross-like fashion.

I don't know who, but almost every class has been bad or unviable at some point, with varying lengths, with rogues at a close second to mages.

But mages LITERALLY have always been good at something. At their worst they will only have 1 good/OP spec for raiding and 1 good/OP spec for pvping.

It's all they've got going for them. Hunter's enjoyed 80% of the expansion as the mobility raid kings, with top tier DPS at low ilvl's.

Arcane was piss poor up until Heroic BRF. It was stupid as fuck once you got Heroic/Mythic HFC, but who cares at that point? Fire was a meme right up until full heroic HFC set bonuses. Frost was good at low ilvl's and high, but never excessively so.
