I know, real bummer. In my excitement I had forgotten to check. Casper and Windia are five-star, so their drop rate is only 1.5%. I took 21 draws and only got Rosa. I think I'll have enough to get another 10 draws if I just scrape up a few more gems.

Though I did get a few doubles of past Deathsmiles cards, namely Halloween Sakura and Winter Rosa. Those will merge nicely into the ones I've got. Still bummed though, I really wish I could've gotten swimsuit Windia.

On the bright side, summer Follett is not a gacha card! It's tied to the event stage which I will explain a bit more soon for anyone who doesn't figure it out.

Alright, so Follett's new card is tied to the event stage. It's not a simple active point grind or leaderboard prize, though. To put it simply, if you remember the Namco crossover event a few months ago or the Mermaid event last month, this event works the same way: Collect items hidden throughout the stage (in this case, a cat head) and as you accumulate these, you'll unlock prizes including the Follett card. I believe each stage contains at least five cat heads per run, but I'm not certain. Could be more, could be less.

Conditions to make the cat heads appear are as follows:
1. Get a 100 chain
2. Get a LoveMax
3. Shoot the faded cat head symbols that you may see floating downward during the stage to reveal them.
4. At this point, just touch it and you'll collect it.

Note that if either condition 1 or condition 2 are not met, the cat heads will not appear. Condition 2 tends to be a problem especially, since LoveMax is a temporary state. You can somewhat control the timing of your LoveMaxes by switching your shot types up, which resets the LoveMax meter. Note that "Helper" shot types, the one you choose from friends, cannot achieve LoveMax and thus should really not be used for this event.

I think that's about it. The Follett card prizes will be distributed via the mission list, so you'll have to check there after grabbing some cat heads to claim your prizes from doing so.

Some neat info you may or may not have known! If you meet all of the affinity point requirements for a card, you unlock their waifu scene. Go to the card's profile and click on the arrow pointing to the right below their picture (should have a "new" on it I think). Watch/skip the waifu scene and then check your presents inbox. Free gems! You get free gems for every new waifu scene you watch. Each card has a different waifu scene, even if it's of the same character! (example: Halloween Sakura and swimsuit Sakura)

I'm fairly certain this does not apply to duplicates of the exact same card. So for example, maxing two Halloween Sakura cards' affinities would not net you two gem bonuses.

So don't level them up yet. You don't really need to level them up until you start taking on the higher difficulties like Hard and Death.

Generally you only want to spend resources on 3 star cards or higher. Or at least, that's what I do. 1 star and 2 star cards seem mostly useless to upgrade. When you're first starting out they might make good assists, but once you build up a decent number of 3 star cards you should be able to just sell 1 star and 2 star cards for coins.

When you're first starting out, 1 star and 2 star cards can probably get some use for hitting boss weaknesses if they're the right element.

I believe that's all that coins are for. You just spend coins on leveling up mahous, evolving them to their second and third forms, and when you merge/reincarnate mahous.

I've leveled up a fair bit on each of them. Most of them are pretty worth using, I think. The only ones I wouldn't really recommend are HP, and Gems. Here's my opinions, and also a description of what each does in case people need it:

HP: Not really worth it unless you're really having a problem with dying a lot. At least it's cheap I guess. Still, others are probably a better investment.

Card capacity: Level this up a few times if you're running out of space for mahous, but otherwise it's probably a better idea to upgrade your capacity using gems. Go to the furthest-right button on the bottom (should be an icon of a rainbow gem), and then on that menu scroll all the way to the bottom where it says "Monster+". There you can spend 5 gems to increase your card capacity by 5.

Fire/Water/Wind: I believe this increases the amount of points you earn while using cards with those affinities. Probably good to level up a bit.

Light/Darkness: Same as above but with Light and Darkness. You can ignore this one until you start getting some Light/Darkness element cards worth using.

Coins: Increases the amount of coins you get. Coins will be good once you start leveling up mahous, so it's not a bad idea to upgrade this one.

EXP: Boosts EXP earned. Leveling up gives you more AP, increases Cost capacity for team building, and gives you more slots on your friends list to add people. Take it or leave it.

Gems: Fill this one to get a free gem. Not really worth using, and I actually have never bothered getting gems with this myself.

Ring: Increases the size of the ring around your character that doubles points when you mark enemies with it. This is a good one to level up.

Item suction: Increases the range from which you can grab falling items in mid-stage. Another good one to level up.

Honestly I'm almost willing to forgive this because they give out gems like freakin' candy in-game. Most games with this kind of setup make it very hard to accumulate the premium currency without just paying for it, but GoMa gives a surprising number of ways to earn gems. I've had over 700 gems saved up at one point and have never paid at all. For reference, 10 draws costs 250 gems, and the first time for each gacha is usually discounted 50% for 125 gems for 10 draws.

This is the most generous mobile game with its premium currency that I've ever seen. Granted I don't play very many mobile games, but usually they're super stingy about premium currency, like letting you earn one-a-day. Or in Pokemon Go's case, you can't earn the premium currency in-game, buy it with real money or bust.

I don't... remember what my point is. I'm gonna scrounge up as many gems as I can for this gacha, though. It seems to be packed with almost every Deathsmiles gacha card released thus far, on top of the four new summer cards, so I can't imagine a more worthwhile way to spend the gems for me.

What this actually is is just a time wall. You select to take the girl out, then come back once the timer is up and the date will be complete. Then you'll get something called EP from the completed date, which you can spend on various prizes.

I generally don't convert heart points to EP because it's just a lot easier to earn EP via dates than it is to build heart points. If you max out the heart points for a card, you unlock their waifu scene which rewards you with free gems for viewing it, so there's that to aim for with the heart points. There is also a special way to power up cards which requires a certain amount of heart points, but that's a bit more advanced.

See pic related for how EP exchange works. It's like a branching tree where you have to unlock prizes to unlock the ability to get the prizes beyond them. I would recommend first and foremost trying to unlock all the dates for a girl. They're usually pretty early on the unlock tree and they award more EP/the date timer is longer so you don't have to keep checking back every five minutes. I don't know if the colors are universal but in pic related, the date unlocks are the blue roses. You'll want to find those on your mahou's unlock tree and aim to get those.

Depends if you use practice mode efficiently or just go for full runs. Took me 20-25 hours total for a 1cc, practice and runs included.
Getting a reasonable score includes no missing the game so I guess it would take far longer.

Score Attack stages in GoMa available for the next two days (day and a half). There are cats in these stages so they can also be used to work towards the Follett card. Normal Mode stage with a Windia prize for finishing in the top 6000 on the leaderboard, and Death mode stage with a Casper prize for finishing in the top 1000 on the leaderboard. Honestly I'm not that interested personally. I'm not gonna be able to score well enough to get the Casper prize, and while I probably could get the Windia prize, I have no need for it. I have that Windia card at 4/4 already.
