Got an error while in the middle of downgrading to 9.2.0. Have to take my SD card out and load it back in to get the system to work again, using browser to get back to homebrew. Now I keep getting stuck at hax initating. Is this common to continually run into when having to start again for a partial install?

Help! My sd card on my N3DSXL got corrupted!

When i go to title blue manager, i have this;

And when i go to the system setting when i'm trying to quit it ( i add that when it try to see my games on data management then software, nothing is show, it just keep loading ) it freeze, i can do nohting beside just shut off my 3ds with power buttons. It seems that it is because of this file ( pic related, USBCpq %) which happen when it is corrupted.

Anons, i want to free my sd card space so i'm planning to back up my entirely sd card.

But i can't copy files like " 00000001" from folders like "titles" and "extdata" ( see pic related)


I think i can't just copy files likes games and DLC, is it ok if i format my SD CARD, then use the back up i've made right now to have a N3DS with luma and a9lh functionnal with free space?

Trying to undub my P4G cartridge, but I can't get my gro0 folder to show up, even though I've done everything correctly. I've even managed to get my data file from appmeta and patch it. All I need is my param.sfo for my cartridge, but like I said, I can't get the gro0 folder to show up in order to access it.

Okay, as far as I know. All you need to launch a9lh are these two files/folders: arm9loaderhax.bin and luma.
The aeskeydb.bin can easily be get from the guide, it's not being modified in any way, I just checked the SHA-256 of mine and the one in the download.

But all your games and saves, etc. are stored in the Nintendo 3DS folder.

What I mean is, if you have a backup of the two files mentioned in the top, and put them on the card after you format it, your 3DS should work again but absolutely all settings and games are gone.
I do suggest to try this with a different card first, though. But it should all be correct.

About how to recover your stuff, no clue.
All I can think of is downloading a linux live cd and trying to delete it from over there.

As long as you have a Nintendo 3DS folder backup which was made after your a9lh install. It's safe to do what I told you earlier.
Simply copy the current two bin files and the current luma folder including the old Nintendo 3DS over after you have formatted it and it will definitely work again.

I was planning on upgrading anyway, but used to use iR Shell, which isn't compatible with newer firmwares from what I've read. If it just works out of the box now then all the better. Alright, at the moment I'm up to Part 5: setting up arm9loaderhax, specifically section 3 where you "set up luma 3ds". The problem here is I get the black screen. The troubleshhoting guide tells me to delete config.bin from within the luma folder.

I do all that and the 3DS finally boots but in the "Luma 3DS 5.5 Configuration" menu

My question is: which option do I choose here? Do I choose "show current NAND in system settings" again, like I did earlier in the guide, or do I choose something else?

Most of the games on that list are average or rehashes. I mean, it lists Nintendogs for fucks sake. And the rehashes were often better in their original form (e.g. Xenoblade, OoT/MM, DKC:R, Smash, Tales, Hyrule Warriors, etc).

Were it not for piracy it would be vastly preferable to just buy those games on their original consoles or emulate them in some other manner. Even with piracy it's probably still better to go that route.

Anons, i have actually solved the problem without formatting or anything like this.

I've told that the 3ds freeze on the main menu, actually, it freeze only when i select a certain game before launching it ( like when mario's logo show up when you select super mario 3d land ) and this game was comic workshop 2.

I've downloaded it yesterday, apparently it can do wrong to a N3DS 11.0 with luma + a9lh.
