I had CFW and accidently updated my sysNAND to 10.6 (I think). While I was waiting until downgrade was possible, I continued with SMT IV.

But recently I noticed that the save in sysNAND and emuNAND are different. NANDs should be unlinked (when I change the language in emuNAND it doesn't change in sysNAND)

Can I somehow unfuck this without losing saves?

After Sony changed how the keys work on 3.56+, he claimed he had a way to dump the keys and install CFW on any firmware, but he wouldn't release the keys because someone leaked one of his projects.

But he didn't have a project. Or the PS3 keys. Or a way to dump the PS3 keys. He actually didn't even know how the PS3 worked.

So this guy Wanikoko who you probably know because his name is on EVERYTHING Wii hacking related tried to dump the PS3 keys on 3.56+ after he was done destroying the Wii to the point where it basically still is today. He "worked with" Math because Math was the only person allegedly with access to the keys on 3.56+.

He would give Wani incredibly vague hints on where to be looking that were straight up dead ends, didn't do anything, etc. Then Wani started calling Math's bluffs and pretended like he was finding exploits in places that literally didn't matter, so Math kept bullshitting him, telling Wani that he was totally so close and on the right path.

Then Wani made a blog post where he called Math out, included a metric fuck ton of evidence that Math didn't have a fucking clue about anything, and said the PS3 keys are actually impossible to get into and nobody should ever pay Math any mind.

So Math, in his infinite wisdom, says that Wanikoko of all people is full of shit, and he fed Wani lies because nobody should have access to the keys because of his hurt feelings and toxicity of the PS3 scene, etc., but it was obvious he was just an attention whore.

Now mentioning his name on any PS3 site gets you instantly banned.

Metroid Prime Hunters primary gameplay focus is exploration/platforming, with FPS as the secondary and puzzle solving as the tertiary.

It's definitely the most FPS-like of the Prime series, as the rest of the series puts Puzzle Solving above FPS, but it's hard to actually call it a FPS as you spend significantly less of the game in combat than you do exploring, and puzzle solving still makes. Up a significant portion of the game.

OoT is an Action Adventure game because of how adventuring and puzzle solving is the focus. It certainly has 3D beat-em-up elements, especially with the basic combat system, but you spend most of the game exploring and solving puzzles, not in combat, so it's not a Beat-em-Up.

The Multiplayer mode is certainly an FPS though.

Can you save in mGBA on Vita somehow? All my save states fail to load, and it doesn't seem to recognize my hard saves (.sav files) I made in game. Although I've only tried Pokemon Crystal so far, maybe it works with actual GBA games.

O3DS is only going to be able to play back Gambatte, QuickNES, and PicoDrive on certain games at full speed.

For GBA games, you need to use VC injects. There is no way around this.

For SNES games, Snes9x just got an O3DS port that offloads a lot of shit to the GPU so it has a mixed CPU/GPU renderer. It's not perfect, but it's the best you're going to get on an O3DS because that shit is more underpowered than the PSP.

I'm wanting to rip all of my physical games and have them on my SD card but it seems that if I want to transfer the saves I have to go into each game and create save data before I can replace it with the save data I ripped off the cart. Is there a quicker way? And with games that have multiple slots, do I have to make a save in all of them or only one?

Have you ever played a Dungeon Crawler before?

If you haven't, EO's a good place to start. Generally just go for the newest one - they aren't connected story wise. Just know that there's enough customization to keep you busy for a day before you even start playing the game, and it only increases.

If you have played Dungeon Crawlers before, and you liked them, don't play EO. EO is ultimately just really easy overall, and unless you fucking LOVE map drawing you'll get bored very quickly. It's a great beginner's game and entry to the genre, but outside of map drawing and absurd amounts of customization, there's nothing too notable about it.

Instead, if you like Dungeon Crawlers and only have access to the 3DS, try SMT: Strange Journey. It's more challenging and requires a bit of strategy, and the maps are overall more interesting.

If you have a flash cart, or you're ok with emulating on the computer, or you actually have the game, go play The Dark Spire. It's the best Dungeon Crawler in a very long time - great battle system that's reminiscent of the old school ones, memorable and very interactive maps, customization, great music, awesome graphics (which even have a retro option), and a fantastic end game. Be warned though, it will fucking knock you down, kick your teeth in, and then go rape your mother, and then your father. It's pretty fucking hard, even for veterans - It does NOT pull it's punches.

Save Data is your progress in the game, your save file.

Ext Data is Extra Data. The best example of this would be replays in Smash Bros. It's data that the game's not dependent on, but is separate from the Save File.

Always backup Save Data. If you're using JKSM it's perfectly fine to attempt to backup ExtData - it'll tell you if it exists or not. If it exists, back it up. If it doesn't exist, then you don't need to back up the non-existent data.
