Anyone know why i cant seem to replace a circle pad 3d analog on the n3ds? The first one i tried worked but it was from an old 3ds so it didnt fit and after i cut off the plastic parts where the screws go it never worked again.

To start up Henkaku the easy way, yes.
You can also launch it offline but it's a little tedious to set up.
The process of undubs is also a bit tedious but a simple video walkthrough will be made that will make it easy for future proofing.

Hardly. RetroArch devs have been going in since HENkaku release and that was before the dynarec was available.

It already has the one up being able to play PS1/PSP natively and Desmume port started (similar to the one for 3DS, but before the dynarec).

I'd say mere weeks, not months, before it passes the N3DS. Basically, when the Vita is done rampaging the 3DS will only be good for 3DS games as it should be.

i'm trying to use browserhax on my n3ds 9.0, following the guide in the 3ds pastebin, but it keeps fucking up in exactly the same way. i see a slider which i can't do anything to, then a yellow screen, then a grey screen, there's a square loading thing on the top screen, and just before i get kicked back to the home menu the square thing freezes. Then i get the message "An error has occurred, Please save your data in any software currently in use then restart the system".

i've lost track of how many times i've done this. i've tried all kinds of things, even switching to another sd card.

i have had menuhax on this device before, but i lost it when i accidentally wiped my sd card. browerhax worked the first time i tried it when i first started to use homebrew on my 3ds.

The Vita CPU is a custom implementation of ARM by Sony. It was very likely targeted for low clock speed which gives huge power savings compared to synthesizing a chip that can run at 2 GHz but only running it at 444 MHz. There's no reason to believe it can be significantly overclocked without higher voltages which will kill battery life and probably overheat.

There were a few chinese devices with the tegra 4 and K1, but only 2 devices used the X1 but they're going on to release an X2 anyway.
