I was really optimistic for AW. Still am, but less so now. They did some things I really liked, but arguably fell into the some of the same traps as WoT only much worse.

If you know how to work the Tiger I, it's actually a better tank, the T29 is just a lot more noob friendly. The problem with the T29 is it's a poor sniper, it has to move sometime and that lower hull is butter. The Tiger I's long 88 gun stats are crazy good.

there isn't a secret art to the tiger, they're both simple tanks with simple roles, it's just that the role the t29 fills is so much more useful on almost every map

the tiger can farm damage very well but it certainly can't farm tier 9 heavy tanks while hull down like the t29

the tiger can take about a shot more than other tier 7 heavies when it needs to but it still doesn't last long, the circumstances have to be all just right for the tiger to work well (going up against an isolated tank, tanks you can pen that can't hide for you to snipe, lower tier tanks you can just soak up hits from) and it doesn't happen too often. You can't really expect more than 1700 dpg counting the good and the bad games, meanwhile IS tanks or t29's can get those values easily regardless of mm
