I don't really know what betting thing you're talking about. I've never actually played cs:go, I just assumed they had keys+crates like tf2 and then you sold them on the market if you didn't want it.

You're technically not wrong that tf2 has unlocks that you can hypothetically buy. I honestly think it's valve's fault for even having the store open for that kind of stuff, but even then, new players have the option to use the weapon for like a 2 week period as a "trial" and by then they should have gotten like ~15 item drops that they can then trade for /at least/ 15 weapons that they want.

I agree if you were to start in the game now it'd be confusing, but it's very open. Overwatch's system isn't.

Plus, assuming they don't want to wait the week or so it'd take to get relevant items, they could just go the way of buying a single key for (at maximum) 2.50, then trading that for every single weapon in the game twice over, with enough left over for like 5 hats. That's actually what people have been asking for, is a way to just directly (or I guess, indirectly) buy the items.

Ana is way more useful in almost every way, she can outheal Mercy provided that the player can aim and let's be honest, Ana's shots are very forgiving in a sense that it snaps to the character if the reticle is near.
The only thing Mercy has going for her now is her Revive, but it's still a 50/50 chance whether your team can make a comeback.

In qm your experiences can reach as low as nail- removing awful, and you should expect to get matched with lvl 7 folks while there are double prestiged in the enemy team, but it can be pretty fun in general. You would be better off finding someon to play with though even if only for the exp bonus

Deadeye doesn't refund charge, activating it costs 50%, actually shooting it the other 50%. If it took 100% just to activate it, it would become the worst ultimate in the game, because there would be no incentive to cancel it if you don't position yourself well, and you couldn't use it as a bluffing area denial.

I agree with the Zenyatta nerf though, I'm seeing way too many Transcendences lately, Lucio's ult is worse and takes a hell of lot more to charge.

The big problem is that Widow's out of the meta. Widow could still pop heads with Zen's ult even with the buff to healing with it, and a body should could take him down. Now that he's buffed and she's nerfed, Zen's way too strong. He doesn't have a hard counter, (Aside from maybe Roadhog who's a counter for half the roster with his hook) just a bunch of soft counters.
