Scout took skill. You had to master air control and double jumping in order to be hard to hit instead of a simple dash ability.

You had to be very close to do damage in addition to being very accurate. You could not hang back and pin the trigger to drag a DPS cone at your targets.

You had to manage reloads of individual shells instead of reloading all your shots in one go very quickly.

If you fucked up or overextended you were dead. You did not have a free escape card and a self heal.

I'm new to Overwatch, just hit level 13, and I'm having some big problems with playing this game effectively that I'm not sure how to go about fixing.

This game is very weird for me.

Basically, ti feels like my aim is way off, and it feels like I'm "tunnel visioned" through every game I play. I feel like I can't aim efficiently in this game.

I consider myself decent at FPS games, I was DMG in CS:GO before I quit a month back, and I played some Quake LANs, but this game is so weird to me. It's like I can't aim in it.

It doesn't help that every sensitivity calculator I use to try to get my Quake/CSGO sensitivity gives me completely different numbers either. Right now I"m sitting on 13 ingame with 400 dpi, but it still feels too slow and tunnel visioned.

Except Pharah's is a projectile that she has to lead with its travel time, pharah doesnt have a stun, pharah fires 1.1 rounds a second while McCree fires 2 a second

If McCree and Pharah meet at any range that isnt extreme long range, McCree can drop Pharah with 2 shoots before she can even fire a 2nd rocket.

And at extreme long range, Pharah just wont hit McCree because he can sidestep the rockets while plinking her down

If blizzard wants McCree to deal damage in bursts ala Fan The Hammer and firing 6 shots and going for headshots, thats fine. Just dont make it so he out dps's everyone else while doing so too.
