Hi, I'm SolarPleTeX, and I'm addicted to achievements.

I've been using the site for a couple years but never got around to joining until I heard about the achievement trading threads. I'm not that hardcore of a gamer, and I don't play many games but when I do, I can't stop until perfect every aspect of it. Now, I've reached the point of my gaming career where my games have online-only achievements and all my friends play Steam games on the PC so they're no help.

I was able to live with it when Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST came out (lol vidmaster challenges) because I'm not that great of a FPS player (despite playing lots of FPS games) but now, I feel that my achievements list needs more zeroes in it. So, I'm poking my head in here to see if I could get a couple boosting parties going for a couple "old" games and then work through my backlog and then help other people out too =) (because I hate being a leech).

But then devs and steam forum stelfshitters got butthurt when people started ECM rushing SR DW in pubs non-stop when Infamy 2.0 came out.

The whole bag-per-exp system was implemented specifically to fuck SR in the ass. The theoretical maximum you see is also for like 32 bags or something. You will never get anywhere near it. Starbreeze/OVK devs hate it when players try to powerlevel because the grind is retarded with no reward.

The devs promised that they'll eventually put it back to 24 bags after they figure out how to make ECM rushing "less OP" but as we have seen, they haven't given a shit at all since and just disable objectives when ECMs are on since Dockyard.

Number of guards typically increase, and if the camera operator is on site, the cameras are replaced with unbreakable versions. Not that you should be breaking cameras anyways, since that pretty much always means a pager. Certain heists have pretty much next to no changes.

The guard health increase only matters if they're alerted, so bring a 61 damage weapon, or aim for the head.

The difficulty scales linearly from normal to deathwish for stealth, as opposed to the more jarring difficulty spike between overkill and deathwish. As such, if you're even remotely familar with the heist, you should try completing it on deathwish, as bagged loot is doubled in value (citation needed). Shadow Raid is especially lucrative in this regard - the number of guards in the depot do not change, yet the value of the loot is increased dramatically. And since your first pager should be going to the camera guard, the unbreakable cameras affect absolutely nothing

Options -> Mod Options -> Goonmod -> Force Load Mods -> ENABLE
Goonmod will disable itself every time the game updates. It keeps itself from crashing the game but is usually an unneeded piece of security.

You won't start out with any gage coins. You get the gage coins by completing the gage packages or whatever.

IMPORTANT: you have to have the gage coins enabled I think. You should be able to find it in the options.

If you go into the weapon customization and have a mod highlighted, you will see in the bottom right corner there is a new option: buy with gage coins.

If I were you, I'd look up online how to make everything cost 0 coins. You have to go into the mod files and change some numbers to 0, but that's about it.

Once they're all applied, restart the game, and now you can enable and spend the gage coins.
Pick up packages, complete a set to get 1.

To be fair, Cook Off is a bit shit.

Did a DW Cook Off with 24 bags and only got a $70 mil payout and 7.2 mil exp for the better half of two hours. Money is slightly better than Santa's Workshop DW's ~$60 mil but exp from 100 bags of Santa's Workshop DW is 13 mil. Nearly double for only 75 minutes' of heisting instead of like 90-100 minutes.

You could probably do three 7-bags Rats Pro DWs, or 5+ Aftershock DWs (assuming you take it slow and take 20 minutes each instead of like...12) and get much more cash out of it.

Cook Off is pretty shit as far as infinite heists go, both for money and exp. Worse pay rate than just doing 7 bags on Rats or OVERDRILL, worse exp than Santa's Workshop.

You use Inspire if you don't abuse Frenzy, that's the answer. Some builds simply don't utilize armor that much, some rely on massive amounts of dodge, like Rogue. Frenzy's useless in those.

Going down for the fourth time (or fifth if you ace nine lives) will instantly put you in custody. Tasers and cloaker induced downs do not count towards this. (taser induced down as in they tased you long enough for you to go down, not that you got tased and then got shot and then went down)

Doctor bags reset this counter, which is why you should never use them for healing, but instead to replenish your down-counter. First aid kits or regeneration skills/perks should be used to get health back.

If your screen is black and white when you're down, your next down will put you in custody. Your screen will also lose saturation as your health lowers - also signifying that going down means going into custody.

If your next down will put you in custody, prepare by dominating guards near the objective. Electrical brass knuckles are incredibly useful for this, as all you need to do is melee an enemy, then spam shout at them while they're in the tased animation. They should surrender as soon as they can. Otherwise, try wounding enemies, then shout at them as they recover from their hurt animation.
As long as your teammates aren't totally retarded, you should be easily released from custody as soon as it's available

I like the 2 sec invulnerability. Also, you need bullseye aced and Iron Man basic for the perk deck to shine. Better than most decks tho, makes you tanky-ish and doesn't require you to get health regen skills, like in Rogue or Crook.

Turrets in the open die instantly, especially turrets without silencer.

Place turrets around corners where they'll get the first few shots.
Don't place a turret where there are more than 2 open angles to shoot from.
Use silenced turrets they attract less attention.

I'm using a full turret build where I'm the useless fuck and my turrets rack kills by the hundreds, survived cookoff to 30 bags solo, could probably do more but I got bored.

Also, learn the spawning areas of enemies, and place them behind a wall. If there are more enemies than you expected, throw a HE grenade, pick it up and place it in a more safe spot, alternatively, place another turret in such a way that it covers the other one.

Repairing forklifts is definitely shitty when you're at a bad angle.

It's worse than trying to tell Twitch to fucking move in HB Day 1 where the hitbox for the truck interaction is actually a halo ring that surrounds the truck but not the truck itself. The forklifts are worse except the hitbox is sticking out right by the driver and passenger seats.

Fucking infuriating.

Getting loot off the forklift isn't bad though. That box you see on the front of the forklift is basically like any other drill/ECM/C4/lockpick interaction box.
