I'm 160 CON 120 INT right now. I'm really unsatisfied with my damage right now and fail to kill people in the arena sometimes, so I would recommend 1:1 CON:INT or even more of an INT focus than that. I was built for GBL/Open world GVG where I hoped my damage would be better carried by a gear advantage.

One thing to look out for that nobody seems to mention is that you are never going to hit with your full flesh cannon. I play at 150-250ms and even if everything goes perfect with my magnetic skill -> talent cannon combo I only expect 6-7 hits AT MOST. It's usually way less. This means that you both do not get "multi-hit" advantage to the full 16 hits that the skill suggests, and that you have to make sure each of those ticks hit hard enough that CON heavy builds will die to about 5 of them.

Full disclosure, the circle setup (kino2/necro2) was completely and totally inspired by dvine after seeing him wreck in wars when I was low level. I decided to run a very similar premise but go CON heavy instead of INT when I rolled this.

I'm at 75% right now. As much as I'd like to go up to 85% that 10% jump alone is 14 million and with bees a lot slower than they used to be, it's hard to take that dive.

The other thing stopping me is the skeleton buffs. I'm at Lv 10 for the skeleton damage attribute, and I can take it to Lv 70 for 11m. If/When we get the % change, I'd kinda want 60% more damage from my skeletons than 10% more damage on my flesh cannon, you know?

In this game taking 1 circle of Peltasta is pretty much all you need to be an effective "tank" for most purposes. You could go Pelt 3 and max taunt but be warned that you'd be sacrificing a lot of damage and soloing would get very tedious. I know a few people who play the Pelt3-Squire3 full tank/support build, I don't recommend this one unless you're leveling with friends who do damage. If you want to be a still effective tank that does a decent amount of damage and can solo easily you take 1 circle in pelt and the rest in damage and get a decent amount of CON.

The most common build paths either end in Doppel or Fencer.

Don't put a lot of dex unless you're going fencer. STR-based swordsmen got a huge damage buff. Around 70~90 con is what you probably want.

Before the game was out, I was vaguely interested in becoming an alchemist pseudo-npc. Soon after it was released it turned out that alchemists were worthless. I'm looking at rank 8 info now, it looks like alchemists will be able to transmogrify or what have you, plus they'll receive new recipes. Is it worth playing an alchemist or are wizards supposed to only play one of three builds to be viable?

Also is there any wizard class outfit better looking than thaumaturge yet? I remember having difficulties fitting the class into a build but I really only want the robes anyway.

That much CON is overkill, aim for 100ish CON at most and put the rest into DEX and a bit of STR.

Also forgot to mention earlier, Cataphract into Dragoon (into eventual Lancer R8) is another common build path if you like mounted classes and going fast. The OP has a bunch of example builds if you weren't already aware, I'd personally suggest you stick to a cookie cutter build and don't stray too far from it since you're just starting out.

It's pretty solid for a swordsman R7. I didn't like his circle 2 though but lancer is going to be the hottest shit.
I'm pissed that I can't grind solo. In RO while party grinding was the most efficient (and that wasn't true for some classes and builds too) yous till could grind solo anytime with a damage dealer.
In ToS a party is required, there are literally no efficient solo grinding spots (unless you have maybe one-two specific classes). I can't grind at all today since I'm doing some work on the side and am distracted all the time so I can't let down my party by afking frequently like a retard. Leveling my alt is fine too but I really want to push my main to 260.

I'm a ToS -noob and I got a few questions:

Is it normal to get bugged out of quests when doing them in a party? Tried to play with my gf but every time theres a boss in a quest it seems to bug the fuck out and either one of us can't even see it or is stuck and can't move?

And also, do equipment affect the look of the character at all? I'm level 26 and I still look exactly the same as when I started.

These and the slow as fuck gameplay is pretty much killing the game for me. Do these get better or should I just drop it?

teh game is pretty slow, like really slow if you dont know what youre doing, but since youre here, might as well tell you, alternate Klaipedia and Orsha quests early, when you get to rose, continue that questline until you hit Novaha, then go back to klai until you reach tenet church, then back to novaha and finish that shi and you dont have to alternate anymore, finish tener church and you sohuld be able to do dungeons by then, 70+ is generally faster than the god awful 1-50

Why would people repair their stuff at these player blacksmith stands when their price range (for my equipment) was between 3600 and 7000s (most of them 4500~5000) while the Blacksmith NPC only charged 628s?
