I played with an Amaterasu who basically saved us the game. He ulted to save me plenty of times, and when it was just him who was alive with 5 people OK the titan, he pulled off a triple and pushed everyone back. Then after we all respawned, I got a double kill and he was next to me with a low health enemy and didn't attack him to let me get the triple. Okay, so what about something like Cabrakan's 1? It stuns with bonus damage, gives a MS boost (with Slow/Root immunity), gives a huge AS steroid, and removes the AA penalty. it depends on what you want the move to do, his 1 does the most damage if you land all the basics possible with it on but that's not a realistic scenario a lot of the time

His 2 is the safest, providing decent clear and poke at range, his 3 does more damage then the 2 and has added survival utility as the turtle shield increases per rank as well, and mink does significantly more then the spear toss, but once again how confident are you that you can mink or even turtle the wave and live to tell about it

if you aren't sure my suggestion would be 2-3-1, getting ult when possible but pretty much any skill order can work for him if you are able to make full use of it

Sensitivity can be turned up for faster turning. One of the first things I did, actually. There is a lack of precision that comes with using a joystick over a mouse but that means almost jackshit in Smite since no one fires pixel thin hitscans like a shooter. Would I play Smite on PC if my old ass laptop could run it? Yeah, probably. If only for an actual chatbox. But the guy is right; aiming your shit on Smite =/= mad cross-map twitch rails in Unreal Tournament. People can make arguments on how games handle better on PC over consoles, like MMOs and shooters (MMO UIs on PS4 make me want to gag), but a 3rd person MOBA like Smite can only offer quality of life things like the expanded VGS, lobby chat and searching in the store.

Though, I will admit, console players are generally shittier than PC players because PC players want to play a MOBA specifically, and people on consoles might only play Smite because it's a free game that's actually a game and not ported mobile shit. People on PC actually want to play Smite specifically, while console shitters might just be broke 10 year olds and are desperate for anything.

iirc, smites mm system is based on your 'elo'. The stat they don't let us actually see. The reality is that other things affect this, such as # of players queueing, and people in parties. So the mm is rarely consistent.
If someone with a high elo queues with anyone basically, the matchmaking stops giving a fuck real fast. Because now it has to search for similar parties and/or people with a similar elo. Which again, isnt consistent. Because if there's only a handful of people queueing in the first place, the system can't reliably match you. And smites population isn't high by moba standards, especially not one that has like 10 queues.

Check your stuff in smite guru and if you see people in a party and check the sgs you'll see exactly what I mean. Most of my good games are when everyone queues solo, which is rare, but when it happens the games are far more even with less retards.

Hadn't played in a while, felt like blowing some fuckers up with my man Vulcan and I have to ask. Am I being matched against retards or do so few people play Vulcan that people have no idea how to deal with him? I've had 4 games so far where the entire enemy team just fucking ignores my turret. The turret which I max out first. The turret which is pounding them in the ass, while I'm sitting under the tower half a lane away. It's like I'm playing fucking TF2 over here. In fact, I could probably go afk, play some TF2 and come back to see the turret got a triple kill.

Also, why don't I see Vulcan more often? Is he bad and I just don't realize it? Cause he seems to compensate for his lack of mobility pretty well with the fact that all his abilities are good for juking.

I think most people aren't used to Vulcan maxing the turret first and you probably played against retards too. Going Skadi and Vulcan with a friend is pretty fun to see how much damage your pet can do before people start attacking them.

Recommended section has some useful item most of the time
The game is closer to LoL than DOTA
There is always a dedicated Jungler
Towers and minions hurt much more early game than in other games
Support isn't as starved as in DOTA
Every minion hit by a tower shot give no Gold and less XP
Last hitting only give bonus Gold so it isn't as important as in other games.
