What's the point of RPing if you don't want to be creative and write up a fun backstory with your character and have him/her change with the interactions you have with others. That's not even RP then, it's just playing ad-lib with yourself to try and come up with a story that you'll forget/won't have a big impact on your character. You are better off with heavy wolfram cuisses if you can get the chainmail to match, you might need a different set of that armor model to do so but metallic silver on the cuisses might work. I really don't go for the whole "I'm a slutty knight, teehee~" but if you're dead set on that, use a matte color for the skirt or one with a stripe/pattern like the vermillion one and match your armor to it.

I mean, my characters aren't exactly super basic, but I try to at least give them some in world justification for shit.
My old roe had some sorta sad backstory where her parents got killed by ixal while driving a caravan to gridania, and then she lost her foster dad in the calamity, eventually her rage at the world driving her mad and stuff.
my next character I played pretty straight but it was more for comedy; a self aware mammet-esque robot from the depths of alexander who escaped and was experiencing the world for the first time
and my current who i'm playing as the daddest of dad's but also with nam-like flashbacks about old annihilation campaigns against some other races

it's all pretty dumb, but i've at least made sure to try and grow the character with their interactions and so on

My current character is just a dimwit """scientist""" who's inventions tend to blow up in her face. Think of it like a really inefficient Tony Stark, except replace the Iron-man suit with a garbage can, and the talking computer with her schizophrenic hallucinations. She's purely comedy at this point.

Oh god, Astrologian by far. Celestial magic shit is really cool, I love RNG mechanics and playing support/buff classes, and all of its spells look really nice.

Thematically it is probably one of my favourite classes in any MMO. Healers in XIV just play like complete fucking ass, so it's extremely unfun.
