Fucking christ. I know quick play is quick play and that justifies itself for any retarded behaviour in it but I would think that by now at least 95% of the player base would know how to win 2CP maps.

I tried typing to my team that as Reinhardt, they should be pushing in when I push in and not sit there and do nothing while I get swarmed and immediately die. Instead of just actually moving when I do, one of them switching to Widow to try and outsnipe their sniper and one goes Genji and flanks all on his own and never once attempts to team up with us.

I should really just stick with ranked.

Hanzo ult only deals with Bastion, so you need to coordinate with someone else who can simultaneously take out the turrets (assuming they're even close together).

That being said, I've really taken to using D.Va's ult to destroy turret nests. Always satisfying getting a few turret kills then pestering the Torbs as they scramble to set them up again.

I find myself picking Lució a lot since he is not as reliant on the team protecting him to get the job done and the AoE heal and Sound Barrier really maxes the potential of even a retarded team.

Well he definitely won't be a leader anymore but all that stuff about the old soldiers and the drama unfolding among the senior members makes it seem like a multi generational tale with him being the bridge, after all he has one of the largest ties to the title organizatio. He's also indirectly dealing with the biggest hole in Winston's plan and that's all the people and organizations who maliciously tore overwatch down would just do the same thing to the new overwatch. Kind of covenient for Winston that his whole agenda is to reverse Reaper them. Roadhog can initiate first always and instantly drop you to 240 HP. If Dva fires at Roadhog fat face, so can Roadhog into her gigantic critbox. If Dva can't deal enough sustained damage and plays passively, Roadhog can and will vape and make himself at effectively 900hp

Matchup becomes in Dva's favor if hook is off cooldown and Hog is on 2 or less shots. She can also disengage really easily with booster, and if she's pulled out of position into the enemy team, she can usually just back out holding matrix and survive

In general, I think it goes slightly to Roadhog's favor in a duel, but those occassions are usually rare. Whoever has better help wins

Hanzo is useless in a general sense. Sure, he can be good at taking out those pesky rank 30 Reinhardt+Bastion combos and is fun to play, but it pisses me off so much when people complain about him.
He has one of the worst ults in the game, his attacks slow him down when he already has low mobility and his arrows are hard to hit. The only way he can get kills is spamming towards unsuspecting enemies. Anybody can beat him in a 1v1 unless he gets a lucky headshot. As a sniper, he is a direct downgrade to Widow and is less useful to a team than Ana.
Think he's op? Try playing him.

is there a way to make this game feel...I don't know more sociable? The main menu and waiting to join a match just feels kind of lonely, in contrast to in-game and overall community when everything feels so alive and loud. When I boot the game up I feel like I'm stuck in a room and can't do anything until I get into a match. There's no 'all-chat' or anything. Even the official forums don't a have a separate area for you to meet and add friends. even neets need some social interaction every now and then aside from 4chan

The way it is now, you're not sure if anyone's there because you can't see who's there with you, which is why people rarely talk in the main menu. You don't know when they leave to get into a match, either

If they did add something like that it would definitely compel more players to chat once they see how many others are sitting with them in the main menu
