what other games does /hsg/ play when not memeing in Hearthstone?

been trying to get back into Path of Exile but the older I get the less I care for these clicky lootfests that lack any challenge at all. I was playing Civ 5 for a while but games take too long when you have a full time job and there's no real payoff in the end. I was thinking of trying Overwatch but I've never been good at fps, and like LoL/DotA those sorts of team based shooters attract too much cancer for my liking.

I started playing Yugioh like a month ago and haven't touched Hearhtstone since. I don't know why but hearthstone really is a big turnoff for me now. Too simple mechanics, not enough vaerity for decks, no stuff like graveyard, fusion, xyz, rituals and synchro. Cards are actually fucking strong, but its fine since you have strong cards yourself.

Also I happen to play against people irl and I met a lot of new people and befriended people, while in Hearthstone you can't even tak to your enemy. The only upside id say is Arena which is a fun concept but paying gold for it never felt worth to me.

Anyone else made a similar experience?

There's such a massive disparity in game design and bias towards aggro/board vomit.

If aggro can have intense card draw that practicallyu bypasses draw RNG, why can't Control have cards like "Battlecry: If Reno is in your deck, put it in your hand."? It's only fair.

If Aggro can have access to undercosted hyper control such as Hex, King's Blessing, Power Overwhelming, etc. then why can't Control have a few undercosted hyper board clears?

If you add any of these biased design decisions to control, everyone would be crying about how overpowered it is. But aggro? That's ok, because Powergamer McFuckshit wants to climb the ladder fast, so overpowered aggro cards are okay and shouldn't be rivaled by overpowered control cards.

Aggro can combat anything. It's high time they turned Control into an omni-archetype that has a solid chance at shutting down aggro.

Hearthstone is here to stay casual.
Aggro deck = fast games, maybe not always fun but at least it's over quick.
Control deck = slow games, not only they cost a lot of time you also have to manage your resources and think about your plays, what your opponent might play etc and then you lose which is probably even more frustrating than getting rushed down in 5 turns.

Some 5-6 mana card that heals you a lot on the turn after you take control of the board, like the old Healbot used to do.

Try 2/6 minion for 6 mana, that heals you for 6 at the end of your turn.
