The thing is, Zarya doesn't have the massive hit/critbox that the rest of the tanks do, so she doesn't melt with well placed shots the way they do.

When I play Zarya, I usually don't have issue with reapers the same way I might if they get the drop on me as Roadhog or Rein. Might just be because of my rank though (mid 60s).

Melting cocky anything as Zarya, especially new D.vas, is the best. However any Reaper worth their salt will focus down tanks and healers asap, even then if he forces a shield use out of Zarya it makes it that much easier to deal with her in a team fight.

I don't know what to do anymore, this game is seriously fucking with my head so much I've started cutting again.

How is it possible to get fucking 3-4-5 kills solo and still lose the fucking objective, not capture the load etc.

This 1-100 ranking system is absolutely dogshit too, and the fact you can queue with friends with 50ranks difference. fuck right off blizzard. There's so much fucking skill variance in even a single level at the moment let alone 2,5,10+ etc.

It takes a couple of hours of luck with team mates and enemies to gain a bunch of ranks and get placed/end up at a rank you cant perform at and it just ruins the games for people around them.

I main reaper and rank 57. Zarrya does not go down easy. If I win I'm under 100 health and usually under 50. The fight takes way too long and if anyone else shows up in lose.

It's not worth fighting zarrya imo. I can melt Winston and roadhogg pretty fast but not zarrya or d VA with her dumb shield.

And reinhardt will kill me if I go into melee with him unless he is focused on something else.

Would it be possible to create a hero whose ultimate was stopping time in a localised area? It would have an animation similar to The World, where an inverted colour bubble rapidly expands outwards in a sphere. Everything inside would freeze instantly including allies, except for the user.

>6-8m radius of effect, creates an invisible wall where anything outside can't get inside
>The rest of the hero would need to be balanced around this ult, basically no high DPS so you can't just wipe teams every time and so you don't make Mei's ult pointless in comparison

It would need counters, like all other ults. For example:
>it doesn't work anyone with a Zarya bubble
>or when Mei is an Ice Block. Or on Zen when he is ulting, however they can't use those abilities to break free if trapped first
>Tracer who has time related abilities would be able to blink out of it and recall out of it.

To distinguish it enough from Mei's purely offensive ult (in that it's for killing/stopping enemies by freezing/damage them) you would make it so the new hero can use it defensively. It would be amazing for example if the hero could move allies positions. So for example imagine if you've stopped time for 3 seconds and there's a S76 helix rocket coming directly at an ally and a reinhardt is charging directly at another ally. If you could move them that would be so much cooler and interesting than simply just killing enemies while they're frozen, which is what Mei's ult already does.

Not sure where else to go with this hero concept. Feedback welcome.

I know he isn't a bad player either, one of the best Zaryas I've played with and is good at a few other heroes.

When I queue solo though, I tend to win a lot more - usually recover any rank lost on the same day / night I lost playing with them.

It's understandable the main thing is though Zarya is a high priority target and needs to be treated as such. With the amount of damage she can output taking her out of a fight often tips the balance in your teams favor. This is my experience from being Reaper and Zarya, I focus healer or Zarya, depending on the situation first then watch their line crumble, even if I have to spook out to heal bringing down a Zarya does a lot.

The most you can give a Zarya is 50 charge. That's not enough to really MELT you, and if your hp gets low you can just ghost your ass to a health pack, which you should be playing nearby to in the first place.

Also, bait out her shield. It isn't hard. Just jump around and plink her with the edge of your shotgun blasts (don't hit her dead on) and she'll put it up. If she doesn't, hit her with a full load and then aim away from her and shoot again, she'll put it up then for sure.

I feel like Reaper is way too fast for the damage he deals. I don't think he should be able to kill me if I start sprinting away from him as Soldier at full health. Finding yourself near him is a death sentence, more so than any other character.
