I just had a rather amusing encounter with a level 41 zarya player, who accused me of being a shit player with awful aim after I killed him 3 times with pulse bomb sticks. Anyone has the comic with Mercy Roadhog and soldier 76, where road hooks a winston and Mercy says "why did you bring this upon us?" ?

Just happened to me with a Roadhoag who hooked a Zarya, and then proceeded to run away as I was healing him, Zarya killed me.

The same roadhog also took a medikit I was running to when he lost like 100hp and I was healing him, I had like 60hp left.

The Shield already punishes you for over using it because it takes forever to recharge. It lasts 4 seconds of constant use from full and has a 10 second recharge if you run it dry. Using it properly already requires you to not just spam it, but to use it sparingly and not just hold the button.

I think a lot of people get stuck into this mentality that the team must have x and y roles filled. If nobody is getting kills having a support simply doesn't matter or help. Really people just need to assess why they are losing and close that gap. it doesn't work every time since one person can't carry an entire team but there have been a lot of games where I switch from support to dps and someone else switches support and we win the game because of it.

it can depend on the game mode, the position your team is in or the characters picked. So many times if i'm playing koth the rounds go from a complete stomp to getting stomped. Sometimes you just have a bad start and your team can't recover because of enemy ults and shit. Lots of factors. The game tends to be incredibly one-sided most of the time though.
