I'll be making a poll with possible contenders for winning Worlds 2016 just like last year, so if anyone has any idea of decks that can potentially win add it to this list.
So right now I have: PkBA, BA, Blue-Eyes, Demise Qli, Demise.decks, Domain Monarch, XYZ Monarch, Dracopal, some Pendulum variant, Moemails, Nekroz, Tellars, HEROs, Raidraptors.
I'm basically inputting whatever has a decent chance at taking worlds. I'll make the poll on Saturday after taking some more suggestions, that way we have a good three weeks to vote

What do you mean? The most notable cards of the OCG build is actually the pot and jar of Avarice. It's what enables him to re-use his dupes.
In the TCG we'd pretty much have to run 2/2 dupe/IRS instead of 3/1 dupe/IRS or something.

If you're talking about the Goyo Defender thing, that's a known Speedroid play. As in pure Speedroids. But it's not really odd seeing it in SPYRALs since we've got so many level 1s with SPYRALs and Red Resonator can make Defender.

If anything the thing that actually surprises me about the build is his idea of using Shamojis for Utopia Kaiser. That caught me off guard. But it seems kind of gimmicky to be perfectly honest, even if it might be cool.

There are a few variants to it. But Defender in general makes for easy Quasar plays. The only thing that really complicates things is that you can have no other monsters on your side of the field when getting started.

But just summon Defender. And use Defender's effect to summon two other Defenders.
Then you can make Coral Dragon with one of the Defenders and a level 3 tuner or something. And then use Coral Dragon who is a tuner with the remaining Defenders and you've got yourself Quasar. And when Coral Dragon is sent to the graveyard you even get to draw a card, and you also have the opportunity to pop a card with Coral Dragon before summoning Quasar.

Or you use a level 2 tuner instead. Make Accel Synchron with one of the Defenders. And drop Jet Synchron to make Accel Synchron level 6 and you make Quasar with that instead.

Now that Spyral build didn't have any level 3 tuners which was probably why he wasn't running Coral Dragon. But he had plenty of level 2 tuners and searchers for such, and did run Accel Synchron.

It's a combination of the hard OPT, Quik-Fix's lack of one, and Quik-Fix only having two kinds of targets. Speaking of Kaijus, time for my BLOG.
One time at locals I went up against this Super Quantal PK deck. Game one he went first and turboed into I think like a 6 mat Magnus and passed. I drew into Gameciel and his little shits floated and I managed to clear his field with Mermails but I wasn't able to push for game. His next turn he top decked the field spell and summoned a three mat Magnus attacked and passed. I top decked another Gameciel, said sorry while laughing, tributed his Magnus, and attacked for game. Game 2 he went first again but he didn't make a six mat Magnus even though he could have and I suspected that I struck fear into his heart with Kaijus even though I didn't draw into my Gameciels. Ended up OTKing him and he confirmed my suspicion that he didn't make the Magnus because he thought that I had a Kaiju in my hand.
TLDR; Kaijud a Magnus twice game one and struck fear into his heart with Kaijus game 2

I think it's quite dumb to run 3 Desires in Darklords since they have a lot of draw power already and because of that, quite often you'll end up drawing more than 1 Desires, which you'd really prefer not to, especially after activating 1.

I've just started blue eyes so I'm not the most nuanced player, but for kozmo, I feel that forbidden chalice is decent. It'll force them to tag out the pilots at less opportune times and will make your blue eyes to big for DD crash. You shouldn't need too much siding for them though since your deck plays smoothly through a lot of their bullshit and, spirit dragon hurts floating.

Except even then that isn't a strong case for the card because Kozmo has to literally be in a shitty position to where they don't want to tag out. You can't just say "oh its good when your opponent is literally losing the game", because you can use that to justify anything being good. You could realistically use it against something like Tincan, but what exactly is stopping the opponent from chaining Tincan into Destroyer, DD blowing itself up and just floating into another Tincan anyway, other than them just not having a DD? It's such a stupid random card to even suggest, you might as well have told him to play Veiler or Breakthrough Skill against Kozmo
