Some of the more common warrior cards are just insane, like arathi weaponsmith and ghoul. My warrior win rate is a significant amount better than my mage and paladin, with something like 7.2 warrior and 6.7 paladin/mage. I dunno why warrior isn't more popular. Mentality shifts slowly. Warrior got good cards from WotOG and has decent chance against rogue and mages. Match up against paladin got better and in general paladin fell to mid tier now. I'd surely pick warrior over hunter, druid, priest or shaman on bad day.

Another question is what's going on with priests? I saw several of them at 8+ wins, all of them with buffs and SW:Tentacles. Is there some secret drafting technique for Anduin on the rise?

Pretty sure priest is still as win-more as ever. Although I did see a priest at 11-0 on that warrior with this deck. That guy must've gotten really fucking unlucky on not drawing his good shit. Plus he used the mind vision when my hand was kraken+bog creep+mad bomber and he got the bomber.

I don't think there's any super special priest secrets. I think it's still just having early game/dark cultist then velens and holy nova. Priest only got shifting shade and darkshire alchemist for real arena cards. Horror and tentacles are pretty shitty. I guess forbidden shaping is pretty decent but that's an epic.

Remove (1) Shadowcaster. Two is too expensive to get good value. Remove a Deadly Poison and a Dancing Sword for (2) Doomsayers.

Nothing is better than Vanishing the opponents entire board and then dropping a Doomsayer, forcing him to not play anythiing if he doesn't have removal. And even if he does, he haste to waste Mana to remove it, making him not play as much minions as he would do otherwise.

Seems pretty solid. I would recommend not adding a Dancing Swords, though. See, even if it helps your gameplan to mill the fuck out of your opponent. It essentially just gives the opponent more options if you fail to draw your murlocs.

As it stands now Hearthstone has 50 million accounts according to Blizzard

You should get the same quest at least once a month, and that is very conservative

That means 600 million Play a Friend quests a year

That translates to 96 BILLION gold a year they are handing out freely

First of all, an insane amount of those accounts is inactive, like the tards that can't get through the tutorial. Even among those that are active, it's probably only a minority that is active every single day (or three, you get what I mean) to go for efficiency with their quest. That already cuts the "loss" significantly.

Is the reason people read: spergs on reddit consider priest bad because it has only a single, poorly performing netdeck in circulation? You know the one- auchenai/circle/blademaster/northshire/both shadow words/etc, the one that's literally been around since beta.

There are several decks that work pretty well (albiet most of these are in wild) and I've managed to hit five with priest decks of my own the past two months with little difficulty.

If you're lazy, here is a TL;DR: Hearthstone is focused on being Aggro/Tempostone, which is bad for Priests since most of his cards are reactionary. The player who is forced to react to the opponent has 0% control since they're always playing catchup

The worst thing about it is you’re looking at a bunch of halfway house fixes that only really plug the gaps.

Blizzard could opt to print more tempo based removal cards for Priest. Things that occupy the board at the same time as answering threats from the opponent. (Think cards like Imp-losion or Blood to Ichor.) This would then allow them to start using their Hero Power, Northshire Cleric, and buffs like Power Word: Shield to build an advantage. The problem with this plan is two-fold though: Firstly, high tempo removal is incredibly powerful and used extremely sparingly in Hearthstone, so adding a bunch to Priest might push the class too far in the other direction. The second issue is that any cards you introduce, no matter how powerful, will only last as long as they remain in Standard format. Once they rotate out, Priest is back to square one. Sucking.

Pre LoE shaman had a good aggro mech deck, and a 70-80%ish winrate midrange burst deck.
Priest is just awful now with it's best decks basically feeling like a Handicapped paladin.
