Velens limits design space for spells that can hit enemy hero. Unfortunately Blizz refuses to give priest analogues of minion only damage based removal like Stormcrack or Shadowbolt. Imagine priests running Stormcrack that kills dragons in the late game instead of annoying Entomb. More fun for everyone.

The trade-off is that you get a fixed one-time 5 damage with the Priest spell (Assuming the conditions are met) VS a slower one drop that has the potential to deal much more than 5 damage given enough time

What kind of cards would you want to see for hunter this expansion?

I would like to see them double down on the deathrattle theme and add a stickier early game, maybe add in a high cost minion and a spell with discover or grants cards in an indirect way like lock and load. Another cheap weapon would be nice too

All their spells are too good and they keep getting Legendary tier stats on their minions (Highmane) so their gameplan is to just to drop things and hit face, trade when needed.
