Short version summary of Thriller bark 2

Stage 1 - pretty standard, e.g. slasher team

Stage 2 - Perona. if you have striker croc (storymode int 4star version) bring him and kill perona with his poison, otherwise hp slasher build with gpu and maybe another turn delayer - you'll need to survive 8 turns

Stage 3 - Ryuma. slasher team with int slashers and him

if you have him

Stage 4 - Absalom. qck team, preferable Enel and units you can hit great/perfects as he blinds. If you don't want to switch units when encountering Oars (stage 10 and 11) bring dmg reducer, kaku and gpu

Stage 5 - standard slasher

Stage 6 - Hogback and Cindry. Hogbacks calls reinforcements unless you kill him. Either psy team that'll be able to burst him or slasher with gpu

Stage 7 - slasher

Stage 8 - slasher

Stage 9 - slasher

Stage 10 - Oars, 3times. Double Enel, ideally with dmg reducer, fn kaku and gpu. Oars hits for 50k below 20% (last encounter)

Stage 11 - Oars, 3times. Same team as for stage 10. Oars will enrage below 50%. GPU and fn Kaku + Enel special should work.

Stage 12 - Moria, twice. He'll preemptively reduce your hp to 1 when encountering him last stage. Also deals 70k and seals captain for 5turns below 20%. Teams recommended: e.g. psy team with marco, double enel with gpu, double ray etc

I think you're good actually. If you run Jozu HP isn't an issue since his special negates Doffy's damage to zero. So basically take some hits on on fodder characters who deal little damage and you're good.

I got a stamina refill from the twitter snails 5 minutes before Thriller Bark came out and I just used up my stamina now. I did lose three times and using Enel took ages but I managed to complete it.

For the second hit, a normal 2x captain you would calculate as say 1000 x 2 x 1.3(multiplier) = 2600
But for the second hit of Absalom the way it works is 1000 x (1.3 x 2) = 1300

2. inthawk sockets
3. mihawk socket.
the mihawk special really helps to be able to farm enel and other raidbosses. then socketing inthawk is overall great for slasher teams.

To be fair on the Eneru one, that one's intentional and not a mistake like some of the others. I feel like the games, Funi dub, and Viz manga all have different fucking translations, so the dub actually says "Eneru" as do the game too (at least recent ones that include him like PW3).

The books are good, but the characters aren't, so a new player most likely wouldn't have the RR units needed for the books anyway. I've noticed this too. Too often for it to be confirmation bias.
I have lvl 2 matching orbs on my Wanze fortnight MChopper team. One time Nero gave me the less Qck buff and I got 3 qck orbs at once when I got to Wanze afterwards. When I get less str orbs I very rarely see str orbs. Maybe once every two runs.
