How do I get into gas reactions? I like huffing, and I've been told that if I turn the gas into polymers can make me far more isk than just huffing.

So far all of the articles/guides I've looked at seem to be pretty dense and complex if I wanna make any big returns. Is the autism of figuring this out really worth what polymers will get me over the raw gas?

There's an article about SWG design and how it based everything on gettting players to log in just for a few minutes as much as possible, with offline production queues (like EVE), et al. It featured *the fastest advancement of any competing MMO*. EVE provides some activity options, but they're ultimately scanning-tier, and GATED. The interested can't figure out the full game, or even get fucking loaded (there was a story of a player finding a Nyx in space -- newbs couldn't even get in it even though it has autopilot), and invite all their buddies to do the same.

I've observed the serpentis event. The reason they did the whole 10k sp/day and the bloodraider event and then have scaled them down progressively to weaker versions is because they're trying to identify what it takes to make people log in to a subscription based game that's too boring otherwise.

EVE will never go F2P it wouldn't survive the transition. What it can do however is identify that mythical Minimum Viable Product that will keep people engaged and logging in.

As for me I don't even know what it would take for EVE to be exciting again, I'm out of ideas. I think it might actually be beyond redemption at this point.

I have access to every ship in the game bar titans. I can do literally any activity I want to - bar titan related shit. It's not a matter of SP for me it's a matter of motivation and EVE is very poor at providing meaningful motivations for long-time players other than the shallow exercise of creating an institution like PL and CFC. Which it has to be said are primarily famous within EVEs tiny population and not remotely important outside of CCP's halls or their own transient empires.

We are talking about how as someone with 8+ years of play time in EVE, with access to do anything I want to should I want to I find nothing compelling to do because nothing ever evolves in this game. For 5 fucking years they've been rebalancing the ships and for at least 3 they have been talking about creating and linking to new space via player built structures.

Maybe these large timespans are a result of completely reworking at badly written game with spaghetti code like crazy? I used to read all the CSM summits before that fucking tard redditor Dolan or whatever got on board and bogged everything down. I used to care more, but I can't anymore. If I log in it's for like 20 seconds to update a market order or production job and then log off again and this is not compelling enough for me to warrant any further use of the service.

No. It's not helpful for experiencing the game, recruitment, excitement from realizing that you're fitted properly (even if you lost the fight, instead of being able to blame shitty SP for losing) and that you did your best and should git gud. It undermines every single point in playing the game, and you're sitting here on your shit-hill trying to imply that gamers can't figure out what they'd like to do in a sandbox MMO. The games existed before EVE, m8, and they would after. There's evidence already posted that having quick progression in a market of leveling drivel is helpful. That may not be a titan, but it sure wouldn't be challenging to get a carrier and experience some advanced PvP anomalies. They could fly around in space checking for un-teathered titans. Once you've exhausted the motivation to log in and grind for isk like a cuck by repeating the same sites over and over again there really isn't much else to really drive someone to log in.

And PvP? Here is why people pvp: The isk the took to grind and buy that ship has time value. That's it. That's where the "fun" is in pvp. You strip that away and what you have left are literal bubbles with 3D ships GUI that tricks the user into thinking they are flying a ship. There is no trick, or player-dependent skills in pvp. At best you can left-click on the direction you want your ship to go, but that is very much useless. Even the hardcore fanboys realize this is not a fun game.

You can't really find good fits on websites anymore. The meta changes far too often and the community doesn't really support sharing of fits for a number of reasons (everyone thinks they can do it better, really good stuff tends to stay hidden).

You should download EFT and play with it to learn to make your own fits. It's crucial to having a good experience.

Also, just as a warning, L4s, especially in a Rattlesnake, are a bore and slow money. Consider joining All-Out and doing C3 wormhole sites in your rattle, like most of the corp does. It's more exciting and more profitable, and you get access to gang PVP.

I really enjoy doing it, and I make more than enough to plex each month, so that's why I don't really bother with multiboxing. You can find very good items to build on the market, just have to search for them for a bit. Trading gives you way more turnover since you can exploit large margins but finding some good products to build and trade, and researching your prints in between every now and again, you can get excellent passive income that I dare say beats PI. I don't really look at my ISK per hour/day and yeah, if you don't enjoy doing it just for the sake of doing it, industry isn't going to be much more fun than trading.

The Lore is literally 10/10 one of the best I've seen. A breath of fresh air in a sea of dungeons and dragons that most MMO's lore seem to fucking be. And even then CCP can't even take advantage of that, I mean, holy fucking shit, go take a look at the half-assed event they put out before fucking off to vacation for the summer.

Eve just doesn't have much content to speak off. It's hundereds of systems that are all the same. PvE encounters are essentially all the same. The only varietly lies in ship hulls, which are locked behind months of wait time. And even then, PvP really doesnt have much variety and is strictly a game of who brings more people.

Free-to-play games have more content provided by the game. Eve just throws you into a sandbox and asks you to "make your own fun"(tm).
Other games just provide fun to the player.

Well I've put a year into the game when I started and I've been paying for my subscription with in game Monday for almost 7 months now so that means I'm almost paid off
