How much does Capcom regret the PC port now? The game hasn't even sold 200k. And PC players are probably too smart not to have used the round 1 mod by now killing all prospects of selling DLC. And they had to have their own servers for crossplay which is the cause of so many issues with the game.

I remember combofiend at EVO saying PS4 was the only way to play SFV barely even recognizing the PC version as existing.

I think SF4 is a snoozefest but it is directly responsible for my favorite game this generation existing and probably for most fighting games as well. After releasing and doing well it pretty much became an example for developers to prove that Fighting games could sell well again. Thats why we got that huge wave of games, which we're still riding, after it blew up.

The game is pretty mediocre but the sales it spawned helped us get more and more fighting games. Thus reinvigorating the genre.

No, I do not, also nothing says that story mode is the only one we are getting. I am certain there will be at least two more story modes in the life time of this game.

size and speed wise he seems different, there could be balancing changes coming that are not ready in the current game probably in consideration of the pro tour.

I do not know why anyone would trust or expect quality from capcom, the reason the generic story mode was good to me because I had rock bottom expectations in Capcom being able to tell a narrative, that story mode was great and it even got me excited to having the illuminati in the series again, who only appeared in one game and were not anything of note nor where they even explained in SFIII...

Im not even a poorfat, but paying 60 dollars for SFV and then the DLC on top of that is dumb. The game should have been 30-40 dollars at launch with the dlc being 20 or 25 dollars, battle costumes and everything else could stay the same way it is. The thing is that the game was not complete at launch and if its working as an episodic fighting game it should have matched that in its release plans. I totally understand people that got this game at launch or bought a collector's edition that did not even bring the season pass included (lol) being salty at how little content the game had at launch (not even mentioning server and input issues at this point).

Capcom needed additional three months for the storymode. I don't think that additional three months would have been enough to have KoF be made with hand crafted high definition, carefully crafted sprites.

Most KoFs were made in under a year, XIV has over two year development time. That's far from rushed.
Also, when the game comes out, it's fully featured and fully playable on day one, obviously things are not left out in order to meet the launch date.
(And I'm willing to take this back if somehow the game launches and features in main menu are grayed out with message "please stay tuned for this feature, coming in update in 2017")

Compare this shit to the fluid, vibrant animation of SF3. Its serviceable but thats all it is. Kof looks servicable, im depressed that it dropped its 3d sprites but those sprites are the very REASON that they have less experience making 3d models. They could have made a game with sprites that were too expensive to justify the game's existence, reused 80% of the assests from Kof 13 (could you imagine the fucking blowback from the community?), or not made the game at all, meaning they never get experience making 3d models and Kof basically doesnt move forward.

It was a tough call to make, but they did what the had to. But im sure you'll post another unflattering Kof image and act like its a meaningful statement.
