Again, I'm not saying he isn't useful when played well, I just think it's a safer pick to have the extra DPS instead. it has all kinds of benefits, they can probably survive alone if they had to, they could flank, they could hold an objective alone (waiting for their team).

Sure, if you have a premade team, you're going into it with a strategy that everyone is aware of, and you're playing at a pro level, I'm sure he's great. But in practice, in actual competitive play, he's more of a risk.

If you pause for as long as your typical 3 round burst rifle (think Halo's BR55) it works, but you should only be doing that at very long range anyway and even then you hit them with the rocket first. You don't need to burst at every range. At midrange I typically headshot until the spread gets too high then mag dump into their much larger body hitbox. It helps if you have bloom so you can see how wide the spread currently is.

am i the only one who noticed that nano boost gives the wrong signals to people? When we're all dead and i just ask the guy to wait for us because he doesn't have an ult and they have everyone up, he manages to get killed 95% of the time and then we have to wait for him, but as soon as you ult someone with nano boost and tell him to get in, he acts like the biggest pussy, especially if it's d.va or rein, they manage to hold their M2 and fuck up everything alone

Climbed from 46 to 54 so far and I have only ever seen one person use their mic to communicate

I stopped playing league of legends months ago.
Sometimes I rage too hard against my team mates because of stupid decisions they would make, stupid builds, feeding ecc. Stupid picks too, mostly.
I felt extremely stressed as soon as someone started to feed a bit.

Does this get better in Overwatch? I really want to play it but I don't want to stuck myself in more rage and then regret the absurdly high price it costs.

Always gave friendly advice to people and if they were being defensive I just stopped trying to verbally communicate but would still try my best to read their movements. Keep uptime on your biotic grenade on tanks to speed heal them
Remember to "follow through" with your sleepdart, it doesn't fire right away and you need to keep the reticle on your target until it actually fires
Work out a mental priority list of who to Nanoboost ahead of time. The #1 deciding factor is usually skill, because a good reaper can do more with a boost than a shit S76 unless he has tactical visor.
Combo your ult with others
Don't boost people who are about to die, heal them first
Sleep dart CD isn't very long, use it frequently. Disable tanks whenever you can, take out characters to just remove them from fights. Things will always go easier with one guy taking a dirt nap. You can even do this to an oblivious sniper and no one will wake him, but it's usually easiest to just throw a dart into a crowd of oncoming enemies and usually someone will arrive to the fight late.

Being able to shoot without the scope is really important because it's how you deal with flankers too. If you can, get next to the flanker so you can throw the biotic grenade straight down and heal yourself while you damage them. It's 60 damage and prevents them from using a health pack. If you combo that with a melee, that's 90 damage. Enough to spook off most flankers other than Reaper. If you see Reaper, Winston, or Dva, just dart and escape.
