Yes. Some of them are extremely broken and OP. Stat differences are much higher than 5%. Wood elves can boost your base stat by 6% but you also get 20% regen which is insane. Playing a stamina build as any race other than wood elf, redguard and to a lesser degree imperial is garbage.

Racials only matter if you want to be in the top of leader boards or go 1vs1 with other min/maxers.

IF you want to be competitive in PvP it matters. In PvE you can do whatever the fuck you want because it's all a joke anyway in terms of difficulty.

I never cared about my race when I prepurchased the game because I knew in beta that a breton nightblade was fine. there were softcaps on all stats so it was impossible to push something to absolutely broken levels. All races were viable for all builds. that's how I liked the game but that isn't the case anymore.

I'm just trying to give people accurate advice on how the game currently is. If you don't give a shit about min/max that's fine but this guy asked a question and it got answered.

AD is a shadow of it's former self on NA/PC. We used to have the best guilds, players and raid leaders. There was a great re-roll in the first year to EP, but eventually we recovered from that.

I'm coming from a PvP perspective.

There are a couple of different ways to play magicka nightblade in PvP. You can be a sap tank, a pure assassin, or, what I do, is more of a healer/support build.

Sap tanks are pretty good, fairly easy (just stand in a crowd, and AoE and bats everything around you)

But any other way and you'll get raped by stamina builds if you are out of cloak too long because you are probably wearing light armor.

Magblade requires a lot of planning and foresight but if you can, you'll get amazing kills and people will rage tell you all day :)

Back when VR14 was the level cap, I had a hard time with Tempest Island and swore off PvE. Looking back though I think it was our healer. You've got to have a smart healer for these dungeons. There are only two or three that I trust to get through pledges.

Research how to craft light armor early on. You should be able to craft Seducer set within a few days, and in the early stages, that will help you because magicka regen is low early on.

I'll chime in for the solo part: I've finished all of my Pact story line, the main quest and zones, as well as fighters/mages and have done it solo. I'm at CP 100 and doing the daggerfall zones now also solo.

The only time I've had a bit of a time doing anything by myself are the giant molag bal anchors and those are usually swarming with people anyway so it doesn't matter.

The one time I used dungeon finder the queue was quick (maybe 2 minutes) and the people were nice. I queued as DPS and played awful.

For PvP, always go more into armor penetration since so many players have crit resistance. Also you can't crit against shields. Go sharpened bow instead of precise.

So started last night after you guys said it was worth it. I'm liking it so far, world seems pretty damn big.

Depends what type of dk you want to play. Mag dk = all into magicka, stam dk = all into stam, tank = don't really know, haven't played one lmao. If you need help with builds, check out tamriel foundry or youtube.

You can probs start doing dungeons when you're level 15 cus that's when you get your second weapon bar.

A good way to make gold is to steal from cabinets, drawers, chests, etc. Just by questing you'll get a fair amount of gold too.

Playing as healer sucks but it gets you an almost instant group. Too bad I don't feel like I'm learning dungeon's mechanics that way as I only watch out for my teammates' HP and avoid being targeted myself. DPS queque took me like 10 minutes, so not that bad either.

At low levels, I'd be trying to get each skill to the level where you can morph them, then work on leveling something else. Once you decide to start using them for a build, they will go up eventually through normal use. You will probs have 1-2 skills on your bar to do the killing all the time tho, so they will get leveled early on, like frags and crushing shock for the mag sorc.

Magicka Sorc, Magblade or Magplar? Purely for dps in pvp and pve (mostly pvp).

Things have gone quite well for the game. After completing I believe all the quests here, I've learned how to break down items, enchant, and also how to steal (and turn myself in) I guess there really isn't anything left for me to do.

Are there other quests like the main one here that become much easier if I gather all of the suggested requirements? I actually found that rather enjoyable that doing all the sidequests for the main quest rewarded me a much easier time at completing it.

Get MM, join several large trading guilds so it can get a good scan of the market, then browse guild traders for shit like recipes, motifs, sought after cp160 gear like willpower rings, find good deals, flip them, profit.

It's extremely easy to get gold this way, because there are always crazy good deals somewhere, thanks to the market system that ESO has. It will take time for you to sell it, you won't become a richfag over night, but it will provide you with quite literally free gold, and the better your jew sense gets, the better deals you will find, the more gold you will make.

I used to be chronically poor. I started doing crafting writs and now I'm rolling in gold. I make about 12k/day doing 24 writs on my various alts. The money you get depends on character level, so at about lvl36 you're making 500g/writ up to 600g+ at lvl50+ in addition to ornate gear. Low level mats are cheap in guild stores so even buying mats you come out way ahead if your at mid-levels.
