I've tried with GParted but it doesn't seem to work. I'll try again with mkfs.vfat and force 32 sectors per cluster since that's what seems to be the most likely reason it doesn't work.

How to migrate to a bigger SD card on Linux
1. dd if=/dev/oldcard of=./oldcard.bin (use lsblk to figure out with device it is)
2. dd if=./oldcard.bin of=/dev/newcard
3. Mount the card, copy all the content to a folder on your computer, unmount when done
4. Using GParted, extend the FAT32 partition to use all available space. The redNAND partition should appear to be of type Unknown, so don't touch that and extend on the other side
5. sudo mkfs.vfat -s 32 /dev/newcardX (where X is the number of the FAT32 partition)
6. Mount, copy all your files to your huge new card
7. It works.

So guys here's the thing. My 3DS was having issues stating so I removed the sd card and inserted a new one and it worked fine. now when I reinsert the old one, it says there's a error and to restart. when I restart, I get the same error so I hit okay, but all my games are missing. I used a backup from when I installed A9HL but still nothing. can anyone help me please?

So I did this whole process for the express purpose of running out of region carts.

But nothing. Nothing works. Running a game on anything just either results in a completely blank screen or it's permalooped to the red 3ds start game screen.

Hey guys, I'm having issues with updating the emunand on my spare 3DS. It's running Luma, but it seems no matter which internet connection I use, it refuses to let me update. I know I'm not using Tubehax DNS since it's a brand new connection. My N3DS running a9lh can update just fine.

Any idea what gives?

Am I at risk of getting banned if I use CIAngel to install .cia files?
It's super convenient as opposed to having to transfer them from PC to the 3DS, but my friend who's super into 3DS modding says it's very easy for them to figure out i'm pirating shit straight from their servers and crack down on me.

So my O3DS won't boot into the emunand anymore.

I used to be able to access it but once I installed two ,cia files and restarted the system, I was not able to get back to the EmuNand.

Im using Reinand right now and it stays at a black screen after the Reinand logo starts up.

I've tried Luma, Cakes, RxTools and the results are still the same.

I just reinstalled Luma, making sure I didn't get the dev version, and I'm still getting the same error. The update bar either doesn't move at all, or it moves one notch and then won't move any more. It tells me it's unable to update, and then reboots.

I've used Tubehax DNS before, but I removed it, and this is still a new connection besides. Do I have to do something specifically to clear it?

Can I just use plaisysupdater to update to 11.0? Not even RxTools will let me update to 11.0 natively. I have no idea why it won't do the update, my N3DS does it fine.

part 5 is easy and quick, the worst is already over at that point

if you got through parts1-3 easily enough you shouldn't find it difficult, just pay attention when you're using OTPHelper because there are some potential errors that only lead to bricks if you ignore the troubleshooting part

I installed it (changed arm9loaderhax.bin to arm9loaderhax_si.bin)

I'm trying to downgrade a 11.0.0 n3DS using my o3DS, and I'm stuck in Section II Step 3

Anyone else having troubles with the freeshop? I tried to download MH Generations but it works for lile 2 minutes and then justs freezes.

No one ever seems to answer me, but I'm gonna try one last time and pray to god someone does. I have been running emuNAND for ages on 9.2 and have a backup, but recently my microSD took a complete shit on me. I had to get a new one and the old one is completely dead. Is there some sort of a moderately simple way to move the backup back onto the new SD and keep my old stuff? Since the SD got blown away, I'm not really sure where to start again.

Do I need to basically do the entire emuNAND process over, then after it's finished, replace the new SD card with the old SD contents?

Rebug includes Cobra/WebMAN which is way more convenient than MultiMAN. MultiMAN is more fully featured but you shuld also turn Cobra and WebMAN on in Rebug Toolbox.

In general, when a program requests an operating system to do something it uses a syscall.
A CFW syscall is one that only CFW has and homebrew applications exploit. When MultiMAN tells the system to mount a pirated game for example, it uses a CFW syscall to do that.
If you disable CFW syscalls they will stay off until you reboot your console, and that makes it much easier to hide the fact that you're using CFW.
