The major issue that holds him back from being truly good is having pixel-precision on his left clicks..

They are impossible to lead consistently because they have a tiny bit of spread on them.

This will always hold him back as an inferior support at higher skill levels, because he's effectively forced to take close range or medium range engagements if he wants to help out by doing any damage.

The rest of the hero supports the notion that you stay on the back-line (crazy range on harmony/discord, super-speed for ultimate to get in and out and stay safe), but because of his inaccuracy at long ranges for left clicks, it makes him a bad version of Ana in comparison.

My two cents is that they either fix his left-click accuracy, or they make all of his HP/Shield Armor instead so that he's actually able to have a moment while fighting before dying.

And yes, I did play him obsessively before he got the 50 shield, extra travel speed on harmony/discord, and ult speed.

His issues have been made less drastic, but Ana does his job better.

Disable any aim acceleration or booster, they are usually mess your aim more than it fixes.

Weight of the mouse is also an important factor, the lighter the mouse the easier you aim.

DPI is preferably low, mine is around 1500 for desktop and I just change it in overwatch setting around 0.2, that's about 400-800 DPI.

Another important factor playing sniping heroes, shoot only when its gonna hit, there's no wallshot and complicated stuff unless you're throwing log arrows as hanzo, which his playstyle is spamming shits.

Least but not last, look up for Overwatch Hitbox in youtube, aiming in this game is easier than you'd expect.

Yeah, sad to say, but if you try to climb ranks as a solo queue support, you're going to have a bad time. The same is true for other heroes who's effectiveness relies heavily on your teammates. At higher skill ranks there will be more people who know how to work with you, but for now try locking in a carry and see what happens.

How am I supposed to climb in solo queue? None of my friends are ever on at the same times I am and then it's only like 1-2 people.

Can't get out of rank 54-56 hell. Not about to start with ME OOGA TEAM BOOGA but it feels like it's totally random whether I get a team that coordinates and talks and plays smart and a team that just stays silent and rushes in one by one despite me trying to get a push together and then blames everyone else for losing. It feels completely arbitrary and determined by the matchmaking rather than my gameplay whether I win or lose.

I mostly play Zen but I switch off a lot depending on what their/my team looks like, plus I go Lucio a lot on KOTH and I usually go Roadhog if my team is fucked and I know I can't rely on coordination or help from anywhere. I like Zarya a lot lately too.
