Speaking of throwbacks... What kind of area would you love to see in the DS3 DLC?

I'd like to see something like Shrine of Storms and Forest of the Fallen Giants combined.
You start at the beach(can recycle the Crab enemy) and progress through a short-ish section with slugs and slimes,then go up cliffside ruins while you're accosted by ranged enemies (either archers from the battlements or Manta Ray equivalents). The enemies will be a sea-themed mixture of Undead sailors that have normal weaponry like falchions 'n shit and shit like anchors tied to a chain they use as a flail as well as sea-creature inspired things. The first boss in the cliffside ruins will be an octopus-like monster that uses it's tentacles to throw shit at you as well as spray ink around the arena to slow you down. You can cut off the tentacles to damage it's health.
The next part of the level is navigating through the insides of the ruined keep that's damp with seawater. Similar to Drangleic Castle, the damp areas boost your fire resistance, but take a shit on your electricity resistance.
The last real part of the castle is the outer walls and ramparts of the keep where you'll fight the fort's defenders on narrow and crumbling walls that also have nasty traps and archers on them. The worn banners and flags of the fort flap in the breeze. The keep is surrounded by eerie mist.

Siren(enemy that creates aural decoys to lure the players into pitfalls and traps)

Like with most hammers axes you're outsped by most weapons and the ones that don't actually have hyperarmor. Best trick to get the wombo combo if you don't mind being patient is using an upgraded Black Knight Shield and waiting until you can get an R1 in after they've exhausted their stamina and press L2 with it to get the full combo.

There is a limit. When you're stuck 3-5 vs 1, over and over and over again, it ruins the experience pretty much no matter what. A few of them are an inevitable part of invading but all the time it sucks shit.
